  Has worked for a few days, then stopped, same symptoms. Half goes back to sleep and locks during the time-out period.

  Then, I got Support HP on the phone again.
  Oopsie, they said that I had to return to 8.1, then immediately do an upgrade to 10 and update all the drivers before you reinstall my programs.
  Hours of my time later...

  ... Guess what? It still does not work.

• After upgrading from Vista created a new documents folder and now ignores the original

  Last week I updated my computer (which I believe has an update of the graphics card and some windows stuff) using Windows update and left while he was closing. I guess what he finished close, but as I was leaving for the weekend, I can't be 100% sure and this weekend my house loses power at least once.

  As for the problem, at windows startup today made first time setup that works normally when you connect to a user account for the first time. Applications of Sidebar by default loading, the default value of the user interface (that I don't use, so it was the first sign), and I found that on the opera opening, all my favorites and settings were gone.

  At the opening of my documents, I found that they were completely empty of content, including all hidden folders where all of my settings the user should be.

  Navigation around the computer, I find that this will C:\Users\USERNAME\ my documents are still intact, but are ignored, with all the shortcuts leading to my documents redirect me to the 'new' documents folder, which means that for all purposes useful all my user settings for all programs that store data in the documents have been reset.

  Maybe someone has an idea of what may have caused this?  Personally, it's one of the strangest bug I've ever seen in any version of windows, and I'm not sure how I should go to deal with it.

  To check the path of the 'new' documents folder, it appears as C:\Users\TEMP

  This means at least all of my original documents folder has not been deleted, but I'm trying to support everything up to an external drive where vista decided to replace my old documents folder entirely.

• Pavilion laptop 2334sa g6. Detected DVD and watch, but can not be executed

  We have a g6-2334sa notebook pc, old Pavilion 9 mos.  Never tried to use before DVDs.  When inserted, DVD turns but does not run automatically.  When searched in myPC, it shows in the available drives, with the DVD highlighted.  Tying opened, it go as far as showing Audio_TS and Video_TS.  Clicking on Video_TS shows the files currently on the disk, in this case 69.  If I click on any of them, he takes me to video tools rather than running the file.  So, it's impossible to go beyond this stage to actually get the DVD to play.  CD works fine also.

  Any thoughts?

  When we enter the wrong password longer then 10 (by default) it will wipe this device by removing all the data within the camera, if you previously had your device Unocked then no it won't lock your device to the carrier after a reset.

  Hi, after upgrading to the latest muse, adding a page and scrolling of some effects, 2 items in the menu no longer work for a reason any. Two menu items have drop-down menus, 'Portfolio' and 'contact', I published the changes thinking that maybe they would do as they should him, but did not.   After you have installed Windows 10 upgrade Windows 7, my second monitor is no longer functional. The computer is an HP Touch Smart 610-1065qd. I connect on the second monitor through a USB 2.0 Port Replicator 2005pr HP. The Replicator appears as a drive when you look at this PC and an arbitrator in him like HP USB DOCK, as it did in Windows 7. The Replicator seems to work, I can't access the SSD on the device and use a wireless mouse. The receiver is connected to the port replicator.   Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome! It is an excellent site to find answers and ask questions. I understand that you have a problem with your Wi - Fi on the laptop HP Pavilion G6. You mentioned that you can't detect a wireless network.

  I did some research and found a great document for you called HP PC - troubleshooting wireless network and Internet.

  What happened with you have attempted to use the resolution of the problems mentioned in the link you so much?

  Have you tried to restore the BIOS?

  Have you tried to connect directly to the Modem/Router?

  Have you tried to boot mode safe?

  • Uninstall the driver of network card in Device Manager,
  • Reboot the laptop twice,
  • Reinstall the driver.

  I know you said you tried to update the driver also. Have you tried to do it in the Device Manager in the order given below?

  • In the Device Manager
  • Click the network adapters to expand
  • Right-click on the network adapter family
  • Select software update of the driver
  • Choose search for automatically updating driver software.
  • Once the installation is complete, restart your laptop.

  Please follow the troubleshooting steps above and the re-post with the results, information from the above questions and HP Pavilion G6 Notebook PC model number.
