That's what you mean by '2.4.6 percent'?

And where are you seeing this number?

How much RAM you have.   If it's 4 GB or less, you may need to upgrade.   8 GB would be excellent although Apple suggests much less.

    Hello

Thank you for your kind reply.

    My answers to your questions:

    1 processor: Intel Core 2 CPU 4300 1.80 GHz

    2. RAM: 2.00 GB

    3 OS architecture: 32-bit

    4. OS version: Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 (V6.1.7601)

As I said before, CPU usage was 100% even if no demand had started. The operating system (explorer.exe) used about 60% of the CPU.

Microsoft Security Essentials has not helped.

In the meantime, I found a solution. After using restore system several times (not only one!), I managed to get my normal working conditions in return.

    Problem solved, thanks again!

    Best regards

  • First CC2015.0.1 crashes quickly transport through sequences ProRes (@CPU 100%)

    Hello-

After updated in CC2015 (and the other a.0.1), I noticed that the first is a lot less stable.

I actually managed to isolate the behavior when I would be transported quickly through sequences (using keys JKL accelerate up to max speed.)  After being at maximum speed and then to wait a bit for first to sort of "dragging" (generally through 1 + minutes of footage) and first would break.  This does NOT happen quickly rubbing through the images.

I was able to reproduce this problem with a NEW PrPro project that was started in 2015.  I was able to reproduce the issue with the wrapped .mov files created by the two Final Cut ProRes / compressor as well as files created by Atomos Ninja ProRes.  The way back to PPro CC2014, I confirmed that this problem was not present.  I was not able to reproduce this problem with other types of images (even though I only tried with H.264, DNxHD and DNxHR.)

Also, I look at my system specs while rubbing, when my CPU 100% usage was when she would crash in CC2015.  With the help of CC2014 rub through the same images, that it could peak around 70-80%.

Also looking at the HDs system resources never more than 50%, GPU no more than 10% and I am 12 years old and + GB of ram to spare.

All my OS and GPU patches and updates are installed.  My specs are below:

Intel Xeon W3565 3.2 GHz CPU

    24 GB Ram

    nVidia GTX 980 TI

All the updates of Windows 8.1, run

    OS / Apps on SSD

Project (ProRes images) on hard disk 7200 RPM external connected via SATA internal

Cover media on separate 1 TB 7200 RPM drive working.

    Hi Ryan,

First Pro CC 2015.0.2 update (9.0.2) to solve this problem. Sorry for the waiting and inconvenience.

    Thank you

  • How to improve the performance of the import

I'm converting a database of its current WE8ISO88591 character set AL32UTF8
I use NLS_LENGTH_SEMANTICS to TANK so I don't have to increase the length of the column.

I followed the instructions in the Oracle:
    144808.1
    313175.1

Except import that takes too long.

I took a full database export WE8ISO8859p1 and now its importation in AL32UTF8.

It is always difficult to prove slow source; but I think it has to do something with NLS_LENGTH_SEMANTICS. On the same
Server; If the new database was in WE8ISO8859P1, a 5 million row table import took 2 hours; but in Al32UTF8 with NLS_LENGTH_SEMANTICS it takes 1 day!

No idea how to improve the performance of the import.

  • High CPU use/Slow Performance after you install the updates of Windows

    I run Vista Business 32-bit.

After you install many Windows updates in the last few days, I've known very slow performance after the system worked for a while. Resource monitor shows 70-100% CPU usage, even when you run all the apps (that I know of). This makes everyhting grind to a halt, same trip that the mouse jerky movements. I ran several complete system with McAfee anti virus scans and not found problems (using the latest software). The detail showed the so-called ", PID4 NT kernel and system" using 18% avialable CPU capacity, but this process is not always shown to use much more capacity when the slow performance occurs. Nothing else don't use much capacity CPU, I see.

More recently, the capacity of the CPU became crazy, jumping from zero to 100% usage in a back a suite oscillation. When I shut down and restart, performance improves, but erodes little by little over time.

Is this a sign of a virus, or is it a problem with the recent Windows updates or some kind of conflict with my software such as McAfee? How do I tell me what to do? Anyone else have this problem with the recent Windows updates?

  • Windows 7 - CPU 100%

    Original title: help!

I have a Toshiba pc, 3 years old, running Windows 7.  Problems with pages loading.  When I go to the Task Manager, the CPU usage is 100% and stays there.  Jumps from the use of a program to a program, it is not the same on the day the day.  We reinstalled windows 7 back to factory settings, and it worked fine for 1 day.  We return to these same questions.  Tried to launch antivirus scans.  Tried to put an end to the process.  Do I need a new computer?  Thanks for any help!

Think about it an absolute must - manually update your drivers.

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.
    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/HT/driverdlmfgr.htm

Installation and update of drivers under Windows 7 (updated drivers manually using the methods above
It is preferable to ensure that the latest drivers from the manufacturer of system and device manufacturers are located)
    http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/43216-installing-updating-drivers-7-a.html

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver under Windows
Updates, that leaves about Windows updates but it will not install the drivers that will be generally
older and cause problems. If updates offers a new driver and then HIDE it (right click on it), then
get new manually if you wish.

  • Windows 7 Ultimate CPU 100% randomly

Hi, like some people, I have problems with the CPU, it goes to 100% randomly, when I opened Task Manager fast, to see what procces is the cause, I see random, example system - Cpu 40, Task manager cpu google.exe 20, 60 etc. etc.

Task Manager, one is ttricky, if you finish her then closes the Task Manager, and then I do not see how its procces do the high cpu

I already checked the disk for errors, used ccleaner, defragement, boost clean, optimized windowws for better performance, drivers updated and checked for dust inside the laptop, but still its happens

yesterday I did chkdsk with cmd and it was better, in any game when cpu going 100, fps drops to 8-9, after chkdsk, when cpu down, fps went to 20-25, which is playable and even better than 8 VPS, well, then I went to the BIOS and default settings selected, but then he started as before

If you need more information then just ask me

    Thanks for reading

    EDIT:

    Here's a look when cpu goes 100

    http://prntscr.com/3ocffx

Before chrome became all the cpu, I shut chrome and then explore used 51% and 36% of system

more: 3 I turned off Intell speed step technology to the BIOS and everything works fine now, I can't believe I fixed it

even if I installed windows again once it won't be fixed right?

  • Lightroom CPU 100% if only the contents of the folder display

Thanks in advance for any help and suggestions.

My CPU is spiking to 100% while Lightroom is open. This happens in almost every process, but even when I only change between folders, while not doing any other Lightroom processes.

Peaks in the processor every time I change folders until all thumbnails are rendered. For example, to a folder with 40 photos, CPU spikes at 100% for 50 seconds until what it renders all the previews. If I click another folder, and then return to the previous folder, it stings again for 5 to 20 seconds. I tried building 1:1 on both files, each with about 50 photos. It always stings at 100% for a few seconds when moving from one folder to another even if all the 1:1 model are visible.

Any process of Lightroom also causes the CPU to boost 100% and a delay in the Lightroom UI. For example, undo a crop on a single photo that has a 1:1 Preview may take 20 seconds during which the CPU is at 100%. I'm not run programs at the same time. I tried this so my antivirus and firewall and other background programs are disabled - no change.

This behavior is observed on a new computer, I bought in December 2015, especially purchased to improve performance with Lightroom. Unfortunately, it is all too slow on my new computer. I'm trying to figure out if there is a problem with the settings on my new computer or a defective hard drive should I replace or Lightroom. I didn't notice the tips with other programs when Lightroom is not open. Adobe Photoshop has no lag in performance.

I have tried many of the suggestions that I could find on this forum and online, including:

    optimized my catalog several times

increase the cache size of Lightroom (currently to 25GB)

off by writing to XMP (no change)

has more 1 TB of hard drive space

updated my drivers of graphics processor (after update no observed change)

activation and deactivation of the GPU (no difference anyway)

run the check disk and Defrag (no change)

disable my antivirus and firewall (no change)

    stop Windows Search (no change)

    stop Superfetch (no change)

disable the Flash Player (no change)

I use creative cloud Lightroom, the most recent version. The images are stored locally.
