Bad Update

I guess that this week has been a bad time to spend at a vista 64-bit operating system.  I installed the operating system and drivers last night. After that I installed and got my departure from security software, I put the computer to update and install it. Now my computer (Dell Studio 16) will not start. I can't with safe mode, and it won't let me not reinstall windows again. When you try to start in safe mode I get a blue screen, I can't read because it's so fast and then a page that says windows could not load. When I tried to reinstall the computer to read the cd with the os cd and charge of the case, but then goes black. No action after that. So, what can I do? Called Dell and they want me to buy a $300 software warranty before they will help.

I would like to give you some information about the Blue error screen you get:
 
1. the file system is damaged and cannot be mounted.
 
2. you use a standard 40-wire connector cable to connect the UDMA drive to the controller instead of the 80 cable son and 40 pins required.

3. the basic input/output system (BIOS) settings are configured to force the acceleration of UDMA modes.
 
4. it may also be a problem with the hard drive.
 
Updates are not the reason for this problem to occur. If this is not the case now, it reportedly took place after a year or two because of the material. If it was'nt a problem with the hardware we could have booted from the disc of Windows Vista and we could have then a system restore or a disk check. Since we are not able to boot from the Windows Vista disc, we can say that there is a problem with the material most likely the hard drive.
 
I have an article that addresses this issue, but this article is related to Windows XP, but I think that it would apply for Windows Vista. As it has troubleshooting steps as check disk that we would have tried if we start from the Windows Vista disc.

    I noticed that when I anchor my w510 in my dock, updates on the internal display is terribly slow.

    What I mean is that scrolling in applications is very choppy and rough.

    Play videos full screen creates 'split-screen' effect where the Summit of the half is out of sync with the bottom half, this separation is not constant, different media are the divider at different locations. several media have it in about 1/3 from the top.

    This is also apparent in other applications like games full screen.

    I did some research on the internet about this behavior and have not yet found a good explanation.

    First I thought it was something power, I have no 135W power, and I checked the CPU is without limitation down or something unusual rooted or not anchored. I read people have bad experience with the power of 90W with limitation or simply bad terrible performance of the CPU down.

    The really strange thing is that as soon as I unplug the computer from the dock, this behavior disappears!

    The laptop running on battery or external power gives me about this problem.

    I also tried to fix an external display directly on laptop or docking station, and I see no problem on external display.

    When you use external display with docking station, the internal screen is still having the problem, while at the same time the external display shows no problem, regardless of the configuration of extended screen or mirror.

    Computer running Windows 7 x 64 with Sp1.

    Alll drivers are updated through system update.

    An update, I used the updated system drivers, I tried today to download the NVidia driver, so I installed their Quadro Mobile 305.93 driver, and the problem seems to have disappeared!

    It's looking good, but I need more than 15 minutes of testing applications scrollng, videos full screen, etc, to make sure that the problem is solved.

    2. What is the message exact error do you get when you try to install updates?

    I suggest to uninstall all versions of .net Framework completely from your computer by using the removal tool and then try to install .net updates the work of structure.

  • Help! FAST! I might have a BAD update download.

    I had a gray and whote pop up on my computer earlier who said that I had to install the Firefox 33.0.3 update "as soon as possible." I clicked on it but then abandoned almost immediately. I still have a 'update pending to be applied' as soon as I close Firefox.

    However, I remembered that I had recently received notices of updated Firefox of C/Net, but will never trust anything but downloads from Mozilla.org directly because of a previous problem. That's why I gave up the download.

    When I went to mozilla.org downloads it told me that I have "already have the most recent version" of Firefox. I'm under 33.0.2.

    Help! Is the gray and white local really of Mozilla, or what sort of spoofware? I have automatic updates enabled.

    The latest version is 33.0.3, so it may have been a legitimate message. However, it is always more sure not trusting a dialog box that opens without your intervention.

  • 10.8.5 to el capitan, bad update account

    Hi all

    due to a disk failure, I install a new drive.

    Installed 10.8.5, and now I'm trying to upgrade to el capitan.

    Upgrade to 10.11 is already loaded using my account id from apple to the current address, but said "must be installed using the account he bought".

    Yes, there are a total of 3 accounts I have, two of them show the problem above, the third is completely lost, so far no chance to recover, I am afraid that this third account is the one that I installed initially 10.11 first.

    Hmmm. Meanwhile made...

    -a fresh and clean re - install 10.8,

    -created a new apple ID

    -a tried to update from 10.8 to 10.11

    and guess... still the same error. Immediately ' an error occurred' after loading the update, no chance to install or reload. Trying to recharge starts at '0 bytes loaded' and will remain in the "loaded 0 bytes."

    So, what can I do? What Miss me? Where do I start looking for the reason?

  • 64 bit Vista having bad update

    I recently boguht a new computer HP laptop, Pavailion dv2 1039wm, among other problems he struggles to update to vista.  Safely update program download updates in the background with no problems, but when I restart the computer to install updates problems begin.  Updates are usually in groups of 14.  The installation progress screen goes through them both their installation, but most often remains on the 7th update for some time.  The following updates are almost as slow.  About half an hour for these 14 updates to install.  Then the computer stops, so I select the back to let that complete the updates install on the screen just before I connect.  Here's the big question.  In the 3rd phase of the installation it shows 0% progress and then stall for about 15 minutes he finally says "updated unconfigured, reversal of the changes" to the login screen.  Please help, I've had nothing that trouble from this computer and I would really like to get this right.

    Windows Xp Pro 32 bit, ie8. There was an update of the optional equipment, Trendnet ethernet adapter. I installed it. I lost my internet connection.     It happened because you gave. Never install of optional hardware updates from MS Update. Usually, they will burn out your computer. Download the updates directly from the computer manufacturer site.

    Hello. Tried an update of the operating system yesterday, and there was a glitch somewhere. Now affected by a Flash of the ULA then goes to the white screen of death on an App Error 200.

    Can't do a restore via the software DT, as when the phone is on white screen that is not recognized. Tried a 3rd party software piece to wipe, but it does not work under a 64-bit Win7 OS.

    Is there another way to reset the phone to factory specifications?

    My other table is to have 3000 sets. Now I need to update my second user_id column table with the user_name serial_no table column that is to have the serial number unique column and I will execute following command
    UPDATE BKP A SET USER_ID=(SELECT USER_NAME FROM SERIAL_NO B WHERE A.SERIAL_NO=B.SERIAL_NO)
    In this case it should update the records only 5 who are having the same serial number but this command was updated records of 2197.

    Can someone tell me why this is so.

    1 - no other files such as css or js or subfolders should be inside of the
    Folder models. If all the files other than the models .dwt files are in the
    Models folder, use the files Panel to move elsewhere in the
    site.

    2 - Open the model. A file-> page--> links verification check.

    Fix all the broken links so that they work IN the page template.

    except for the traces in custom javascript, dw will manage fine paths as long
    as the path correct is defined in the template, so that the path is right
    the location of the template.

  • Exporting files with wrong timestamp and bad "update" folder

    My system is running Windows 7. CC in Lightroom to 2015.

    Yesterday, while working in Lightroom, we have experienced an unexpected failure. (My dog hit the switch! Don't laugh!)

    When the system rebooted, everything seemed normal with the exception that the 'Clarity' legend was missing in the develop module. The cursor worked as expected however.

    Today I have been using Lightroom without any apparent problem until I exported some images for my external storage. I discovered that time 'Date modified' case files have been exported and the files themselves showed the "Date modified" as on 01/01/2000.

    When I import files in Lightroom, it identifies the file date and time correctly and is important to the good year/month/day.

    The system clock is correct.

    Indeed, I think it's more of a NAS Trier management as LR question, incidentally, you can try to disconnect the disk completely and then plug it in again.

    Also try one last thing, the images that you exported to desktop, now move them to SIN and then see if the sort order.
