  So, I removed the e-mail address of both of those places (and confirmed the deletion by clicking the link in the notification was sent) and tried to change my Windows Live ID again.
  But I get always the same "you can not use your email address as login Windows Live ID. Please enter a different Windows Live ID" message, even if the address that I am changing is so nowhere associated with my Live account?
  Means that I can't change my ID at any address I've never previously used as an alternate email address?

  It is not an actual color of the field it's a highlight color for the application. You can disable it via editing - Preferences - forms.
