  Make sure that you use the actual files, not those in the library view *.
  Right click on the file > properties > high right, customize > down, change icon > (you can do the rest...)

  If it's just a personal folder, and then right-click on the file, select Rename , then change the name to what you want and press enter. Avoid changing the file extension (.jpg in this case) as it may cause problems with it being recognized as the wrong file type.

  Looks like you need assistance in accessing the files and folders under % CommonApplicationData %

  The directory that serves as a common repository for application-specific data that is shared by all users is CommonApplicationData.

  a. Click Start.

  b. Select run windows.

  c. Enter the following command

  d. %systemdrive%\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data

  e. the folder will be opened.

  In Windows Vista and 7, make changes to the files in Program Files is strongly discouraged.  It is possible, but requires a security change / property rights.  Well-written programs should look to the folder tree of data program for these kinds of things, or sometimes the user Appdata folder.  There is not another location course serve this in Autocad 2010?  There should be.

  I'm running Yosemite (10.10.5) and plan to upgrade to El Capitan, shortly.

  An example of this is the Evernote database folder.  In order to recover some of the notes that have been deleted or modified, I need to restore my folder of Evernote completely because it was on a certain date.  It must include all files/folders that I've had to this date.

  I did a lot of research, a lot of research, read many documents (including Apple) on the use of TM, and I can't find any information that explains how to do this.

  If TM can do, there's another backup system which can, would you recommend for this?

  Way the easiest is to put the flash drive in and make sure it works - possibly Windows Explorer
  Startup - if not use Start - computer or Windows Explorer.

  If you have a lot of individual files (or groups of them) put in a folder and subfolders on the
  Flash drive. You can copy as many files and folders as needed as long as they are not all in the
  root of the flash drive, of the capacity of the drive.) Make a folder on the USB Flash drive-
  Right-click in the pane right and NEW.  If you COPY a folder on the drive hard drive then all its
  content must also be copied if after you paste them on the flash drive, you need to check.

  Copy using Start - computer or Windows Explorer

  Please follow these steps to file extensions to batch rename.

  a. place all files in a single folder for those that you want to change the file format.

  b. press SHIFT and right-click on the folder, and then select a window to order here.

  c. you will now see a command window with the current directory of the open folder. Now, type the following command line.

  Ren *. (name of the current extension) (extension required)

  d. now, all the files in the folder will change to the desired extension.
