  Thank you. I placed the folder on my desktop and then changed the icon. Then I moved the icon (which did NOT show the new icon - just a file photo), to the quick launch. I think I just clicked and clicked on properties and then the icon HE chose displayed, I clicked on it Ant then display many icons displayed and then I found the icon who had chosen before was in the displayed list. Then clicked on it and then apply and it worked. Without doing this way many icons display never came and I didn't and still don't know why.
