How do I enter secure folders?

Everything tonight.
I use Vista Business SP2 (I just left XPPro SP3 and it uses actually still at the office).
I need to move some files on my USB xlam in microsoft add ins folder and move my xlsb file in the xlstart folder.
At the opening of the windows Explorer, I find that whenever I go to access the folder that brings me to the here - it keeps telling me that I'm not allowed to do yes - I am the computer administrator, and my account is the admin account.

I found an article that supposedly explains how unlock these files to give me a control total, but after that, it still won't let me.

For example,.

* On Windows Vista business, enterprise or ultimate edition:

  1. Click Start, type secpol.msc in the search box, then press enter
  2. In the list on the left, click local policies, and then Security Options
  3. The value accounts: administrator account status to "Enabled"
  4. Set user account control: administrator on behalf of administrator approval Mode integrated for disabled

Does anyone know how to get full access to files/folders hidden from my computer, I already have to show?

While I appreciate to know that windows did a bang up job of protecting my system, I'm an old hat in the complexity of the system and simply move files to locations for Excel 2007.

Thank you for your time and your answer to my question.
Best.

Hello

I suggest that you check the steps below to take possession of a hard drive.

(a) with the right button of the hardrive/partition that you want to take control and then click Properties.

(b) click on the Security tab, click Advanced, and then click the owner tab.

(c) click on edit. Need administrator permission if you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

(d) click on the name of the person you want to give to the property.

(e) If you want that person to be the owner of the files and subfolders in this folder, select the Replace owner of subcontainers and objects to check.

(f) click OK.

For more information, see the article.
