  My colleague and I have tried to use the Oracle Report Builder to replace our existing report builder of our ERP system. We have already created the report in Report Builder from the suite of development.

  We use Oracle Database 10 g for the LES quite a long time already. We had setup the Oracle Developer and the installed Application Server.

• How to fill a table with marked text column?

  I hate research and typing so I was wondering if there was a solution to the following problem.

  I have a document that contains fault codes 5 characters in the body of the text (numbered steps). At the end of the document, I have a table which summarizes these codes: codes form a column and other columns contain information related to these codes (page number, area, action, criteria for vice etc.).

  Is it possible for me to score codes such as I could all import them into the column of fault code?

  I was leaning towards generating a list any and then paste it into the column, but I can't paste my list generated in several cells. FM will only allow me to paste the entire list into a single cell. Am I using the wrong approach or maybe missing a step between the two?

  I suggest the second approach of the Arnis, especially if a specific code is

  used in several places in the text. If so, you could make an INDEX of codes, instead of one

  list, which gives you all the pages where each code appears (after each code). This avoids having to organize the list.

• How to select text on several pages of the PDF document

  I really could use your expertise.  I know that some people will say it is not a question of Acrobat, but I think it might be.  I scanned the 3 pages and saved in PDF format.  When I open the file it opens in Microsoft Document Imaging.  I have ocr and then I save it to PDF and open it in Acrobat 8 Pro.  I need to select text in the 3 pages and can only find a way to select the text on the first page?  I don't want to retype this information if any suggestion would be great.  I tried to save to tiff, but that no longer works.  I have a lot of reports I have to scan and then select text and cut and paste to word.  Is there a better product to achieve?  Remember that documents will be scanned.

  Since you have OCR has analysis and the PDF file contains text, the easiest way is to use Save as and select DOC. Don't expect formatting and others to be preserved, but typing must be intact. The other option is to a continuous page view and highlight the entire document, then copy and paste the word. Yet once, you won't have to preserve formatting and others. Other than that (which, from what I've read, what you asked), I'm not clear on what you are after.

I would like to have a button that, when clicked, selects a random page in this 50 and takes you there. I'm back and forward buttons that guide you through the pages one at a time, but a button randomizer would be really nice to have too.

  So, is there a simple way to do this? A widget? HTML? Or did I miss something even simpler. Help!

  This site gives the button an id #... you also give the pages an id # and I would display them inside an iframe which (you guessed it) has its own id # and name

  Once you have numbers you can do a math behind the seens as x = (x + 1), if x = 9, then x = 1 to assign the id to choose a number between 1 and 9, and then you view this page inside the iframe... There is nothing random about these codes and people can continue to push the button until all options come back , but I have a question the idea that people want even a page randomly... its your design partner more power to you.

  Copy the text from the Web site.  Then open Notepad and paste in the Notepad window and it will be in plain text format.  If you have the HTML with tags, and everything only, and then save that as a htm file and then click above to open it in Internet Explorer and then copy that and then paste it in Notepad.
