  If you have a text input and a button to the page 1 how to make that value available on page 2 after clicking on the button. I created a flow of the page by clicking on the button brings me to page 2 but not sure where you get the value of input text that was on page 1.

  There is a field called 'turnover' in our Eloqua instance. It is a text field, but contains mostly numeric values synchronized in the same field of SFDC. The SFDC field is numeric.

  I am trying to write a program of standardization of data that uses the "Annual sales" value to update another field, "standardized annual income", with the value appropriate for example Strip $0 to $5 M, $5 - $10 M, $10 / $20 M...

  I created a rule to update that search values:

  • between 1 and 5000000 "turnover" and updates the "standardized annual income" field of $0 à $5 M
  • between 5000001 and 100000 in the "Annual income" and updates the "standardized annual income" field $5-$10 M
  • and so on...

  However when I test it I get the correct value in 'annual standardized income. " I also tried using filters to make contacts with the "annual income" values between 0 and 5000000 but I get all kinds of values outside this range.

  Can someone tell me where I'm wrong? Is it because the data type of the field 'Turnover' is the text rather than digital? I guess I could create a new numeric field for "Annual income", write values existing in this area and change the SFDC integration but I would avoid it if possible. If anyone has any bright ideas, I'd love to hear them.

  For anyone interested, I got the answer from the Support. As it is established as a text field that eloqua is trying to make an alphabetical "between" rather than a digital "between". As it is not possible to change the data type of a field, I need to create a new digital field, export the data to the existing field (as well as email address) and upload again to the new field.

  Hello. I would use four check boxes on a form, each of which will enable (check) if the data have been entered in four text fields of form on a different page in the same form.

  Example:

  Page 1 will have a question like... How many apples did you eat last month? "Text1" = 3

  So, given that the user has responded to 3 in the field 'text1', "checkbox1" must now be verified on page 2.

  ... and so on for the other three.

  Note: The answers to the questions will be like a number. If the user enters 0 (zero), then I don't want the boxes to activate it. So, any greater than zero response will check the checkbox.

  Follow-up to question...

  Is it possible for a text field quite different form whether visible or not visible (default read-only text) based on the status of each check box mentioned above?

  Example:

  "checkbox1" will have a field of text next to it named "date1" with a date hidden. If "checkbox1" is checked (because of the above), then the date will be visible.

  If you also want to uncheck the checkbox where the value of the text field is not 3 then double online #2 but with the false instead of true value in the else block.

  You can set properties for form field in Acrobat DC also PDF, Adobe Acrobat form field properties.

  If you want to implement all the constraints you can also use JavaScript.

  If you do not enter data in the text field 2 then you can set the form field property to is not mandatory, but if you want to disable the 2nd text field, you can add a check box in front of it to turn off the field. This can be achieved using JavaScript.

  It is quite easy to achieve with FormCalc.

  In you the output of the date fields event add the following code:

  textField1 = Num2Date( Date2Num($.formattedValue, "MM/DD/YYYY"), "YYYY")
  

  Note: This example assumes that your date field formats the date with "MM/DD/YYYY". You may need to change the schema to make it work for your purpose.

  I don't know if it's the best option, but here is a workaround...

  using formcalc you can format your date fields

  var myDate = Date2Num (DateField1.rawValue, "YYYY-MM-DD")

  See example Acrobat JavaScript by Chris Dahl. The script can be an action script open document level or page to insert the date when the PDF file is open or use as a print action to fill the date just before printing the form. And the formatting of the field is 'None' because JavaScript applies the formatting.

  Darkness samll error you did. It must be xfa.event.newText. No xfa.eventnewText. If you see attention you missed the "dot /." between the event and newText. Try it and see what happens next.

  I have a field FieldA, which contains 6 numbers, (even if the field is a text field). I need to know if that evaluate the numbers from the field to a real date in MMDDYY format. For example, if FieldA contains 060110, which would evaluate then to a real date from 01/06/10. However, if FieldA contains 130110, so this isn't a valid date and the test will indicate accordingly. I was thinking about using a case statement, but unsure of how to test if the numbers are evaluated to a valid date...

  I need to automatically populate a text field with four letters so the date and current time. The field must fill out when the user clicks on a checkbox.
