  Thank you for your answer to my question.  The software, I'm trying to delete is Illimina. The steps I am taking are; got to control panel, click Add/Remove programs and click on the program to remove.  Once I click on the program - it starts to boot and then stops.  Immediately after the stop, a message appears on the screen that reads, "engine InstallShield (ikernel.exe) could not be launched.  Without this interface supported. "  Let me add that I have not used this laptop since 2004.  I downloaded all the necessary updated and improved to explore 8 and still get the same results.  I hope that's enough detail, if it not is not please let me know.

  So unless your Dell printer has a Raid Controller, you can't, unless you configure software raid, which isn't a very good idea.
  The RAID is not an alternative to a backup solution, which should ideally be external media to your PC.
  In any case to do what you desire buy for example, Acronis TI and configure it to image / your C drive on your other backup disk

  If it is at all possible, I suspect you would need to install the 32-bit version of CS6 from previous Versions in the Manager Application, and with the help of Google and wind, you _might_ manage.  There was reference to Kai Power Tools in this forum not long there, so it might be doable.  I was always surprised me that nobody did equivalent plug-ins to work with current Photoshop versions, as the tools of KP had very cool effects and there were so many of them.  The closest I can think of, are the Flaming Pear plugins.
