  I got the answer to my own question. You don't have to install additional drivers for your windows 7 computer pro to be able to print to it from an Ubuntu machine. All you have to do is on the windows computer to which the printer is connected, is to go into devices and printers. Then right clock on the printer you want to print from the machine Ubuntu and left click on Preferences of printer in the pop-. Can find the ports the printer tab and left click, then search for bidirectional printing and clear the check box next to it and keep.
