How do I reset my password for Adobe so I can continue to install

When I bought my macbook air, I tried to download Adobe flash but never finished. I then did a password. Now, I'll try to complete the installation back but don't remember password. It says index but nothing next to him, like a real indication. It does give me an option to reset the password. So I went on the site and made an account with a password to see if that reset it and could not even connect with that. How can I make it work?
