  Authorize your purchases with the correct account name

  The items you are trying to play might have been purchased using a different iTunes Store account. To determine which account was used to purchase an item, follow these steps:

  1. Select a song in your library.
  2. Mac: In the MenuBar at the top of your computer screen, choose file > read the information.
     Windows: Press Control and B on your keyboard to activate the bar menu of iTunes. On the menu bar, choose file > read the information. Learn more about the menus in iTunes for Windows.
  3. Click the file tab Make note of the name of the account that appears in the list. Is the name of the account (Apple ID) that you use when you authorize your computer to play this purchase.
     The Apple ID that appears is that you used when you bought the item. The Apple ID, that you used to purchase the article does not change, even if you change your Apple ID.
  4. Authorize your computer.

  Hello.  I tried searching this question, I'm sure I'm not the first to have, but I'm coming out of a solution.  I just bought a new laptop.  I have all my iTunes Music and movies stored on an external drive.  How iTunes to see where these files are located so he don't think he has all of the cloud redownload since I already have a copy on my external hard drive?

The iTunes download page can't give it to you or the other.

  The iMac all my iTunes songs were dying, so I have them saved on a hard drive external and then transferred in my Macbook. Now, all the songs are in the folder iTunes Media, but they will not appear in the library when I run iTunes. If I play one of these songs, it will add it to the library, but with several thousand songs, which will take much too long.

  So, how do iTunes to recognize songs in the Media folder?

• 12 iTunes does not start automatically when I connect iPhone 6s

  I have a desktop Windows 10 new and I connect my 6s iPhone more synchronization with Outlook, every day.  When I connect my iPhone, iTunes not open automatically as it has always done in later versions.  If I manually open iTunes, then the iPhone syncs fine, but I would like to do this annoying extra step every day.

  I have read several posts on this topic and here is what I tried:

  -J' I uninstalled/reinstalled iTunes

  -J' checked I have the vs 12.4.3.1 of Windows and iTunes updates

  -I went to Device Manager > Apple Mobile Device Driver > pointed to: \Program Apple Mobile Device Support\Drivers updated and referred 'the driver is up-to-date.

  -In iTunes > edit > Preferences > devices > prevent iPhone sync automatically is not checked

  -In iTunes > my iPhone > summary, is checked automatically sync when this iPhone is connected.  I also tried unchecking it, apply, close/reopen iTunes and then check again with the same result.

  -J' have tried using a different USB port

  In addition to this, when I connect my iPhone to a different USB port, Windows gives a saying "Select to choose what happens with this device.  When I click on it, Windows provides about 5 options on how to import the device or to open an application when the device is connected, but iTunes is not in the list of apps to select from.  In addition, in older versions of Windows, there is a link to select a different program from your pc to use if it wasn't in the shortlist and this link/option is no longer there it that it seems impossible to select iTunes opens automatically when the iPhone is connected.

  FYI, I had exactly the same problem on my old pc once it has been upgraded to Windows 10.

  Does anyone know how get iTunes opens automatically when I connect my iPhone?

  I suspect that you need to tell Windows not to do anything, make sure that the iTunes Helper application is configured to run on start-up (activation/deactivation of the next triggering and to solve this problem) and in iTunes, select the device and choose the option to run iTunes when the device is connected.

• presentation of iTunes Store huge (can't scroll or click on)

  When I opened the iTunes store, the default layout is huge.  Album art images are very large, and the right hand navigation is not yet visible.  I don't see any of my scroll bars, and when I use my mouse wheel to scroll, I go directly from the top of the page, directly to the bottom of the page.  I see nothing in between.  I zoom out, so that I could see small icons and small fonts and also shows the right hand navigation, but then my cursor cannot click items.  The location of the mouse and the mouse actions do not align.

  I tried the solution to go in Edition > Preferences > advanced > reset the Cache.  Who has not worked for me.  I use iTunes on a PC of Windows 10 and set to level to the latest version of iTunes.

  If you encounter some problems with how your iTunes store is displayed, try force leaving the app the revival. A quick reboot of your PC may be be useful but not necessary if the renunciation and the stimulus has solved the problem. Follow the steps below to force quit your iTunes Application

  1. right click on the taskbar, a menu should display

  2. click on the Task Manager

  3. look for the iTunes process and highlight

  4. then click on end task.

  The display of the selected playlist is ordered from the menu bar.  After selecting playlist, in the menu bar display-> View As-> [select desired display].  You probably view songs .

  NOTE: The sidebar in the latest version of iTunes is designed to be visible, as in the old iTunes (version 10 or earlier) where you could not hide it.  Although you can hide it from current iTunes, you must leave it visible and make it as short as possible.

  Hello, I am trying to configure the iTunes server and the documentation isn't too good.

  I have the music in the folder music on the D400. I activated the iTunes server option. I expected to see a source of shared iTunes music, but I see nothing. I'm using iTunes 9 and nothing appears on a Mac or Win 7.

  I do? Can someone tell me better instructions on how the iTunes server is supposed to work?
