It's something to do before such a big jump, it is surprisingly easy to use and all you need is a few features

An external hard drive enclosure and another hard drive to put the system on

Then you need only a few CD really to create a WinPE disk system restore to restore the system image stored on the second hard drive

  • find the clipboard history

I need to find the history of the Clipboard; I use Windows 7 Beta. Any ideas?

Windows only remembers the last thing on the Clipboard, but this behavior is different in different applications (e.g. Microsoft Word).

The Clipboard has changed somewhat over the years and many applications handle / manage in their own way.  In Windows, you get the basic functionaility and it is up to applications to expand on that.

There are utilities out there has for example has a http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/save-and-view-your-complete-clipboard-history-in-windows/ that run in the background and save your information to the Clipboard, but none that I know of present by default in the operating system.

    I hope this helps!

    Kind regards

I don't think that you can install Windows 7 with Boot Camp on El Capitan:

    • A Microsoft Windows installation media or disc image (ISO) containing a 64-bit version of Microsoft Windows 8 or later *.

From: How to install Windows using Boot Camp - Apple Support.

Windows 10 is simply too new for your Mac, and Windows 7 is too old. It is quite a difficult situation. If you really need Windows, you would need to get a copy of Windows 8, or put to level to an earlier version of Mac OS X with a version of Boot Camp that works in Windows 7.

  • How can I delete my entire history on Firefox except for history to download?

I want to delete my browsing history, cookies and cache, but I want to keep my download history, all that.

I can't remember what version it is, but after update, I deleted my browser history and noticed that my download history has been eliminated up to a point, before the update. The last time I tried, I could delete my cookies and cache and my download history was untouched.

I see in the "clear recent history" dialog navigation and history of downloads are consider one thing. It wasn't a thing before.

I want to keep my download history but delete my browsing history, cookies and cache.

Go to the Options window > Panel Privacy > history session click use the customized for history > clear history of Firefox closing then settings button is active click it, and then click except download history or other things you want to keep it > click OK to save, exit firefox and restart.

    Hello!

For this, you can use the Microsoft installation disc. I put t know what OS you want, but put the disc in the CD drive, boot from it and the installation begins.
After installation, you can begin to install the drivers you can download from the Toshiba site in * Archives *.
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-online decision-making supported Downloads & => Download drivers

Maybe you can get a recovery disk Toshiba an ASP or eBay. The Toshiba Recovery disk contains factory settings and you need to download and install each driver. It does not take as long as the disc of Microsoft.

    Good bye

    Concerning
    John

    Hello John

It is not easy to understand the whole situation, especially the part with the virus.
In my opinion, Windows XP Home edition installation should not be problematic.

What you need is Windows XP Home SP2 or SP3 and driver SATA edition disc. Without SATA driver disk HARD will be not visible to Windows XP Home edition.

  • Satellite A210-15Y - how to install Windows XP?

I had Windows Vista and I improve it with Windows 7. Now, I really want to install Windows XP.
When I put the Windows XP CD in after awhile I get a blue screen whit an error.

pls tell how to install Windows XP on my laptop and if I need some drivers do pls put links of whereIi can get them.

PS Sorry for the bad English

    Hello

I think the problem is that you tried to install Win XP without installation of the SATA driver.
The A210 need driver SATA to recognize the HARD drive.

You can also check the BIOS settings. There should be an option called SATA mode.
This can be set between AHCI and compatible and this will allows you to install the Win XP without the first installation of SATA drivers.

Also check the other threads here in the forum on the same topic!

PS: It is advisable to use Win XP including SP3! You can include the SP3 using nLite software!

I assume that you are missing the driver SATA.

BTW: create recovery DVDs before you begin to install own OS.

  • Re: Portégé R700 - how to install Windows 7 on new SSD?

    Hello!

I want to change my HDD in Toshiba Portege R700 to SSD. How to install Windows 7 on this new SSD? I don't have any Windows installation disc.

Or that it will be possible to move the partition of the old HDD to new SSD (using Acronis, I could move the partition on the new HARD drive)?

I've heard of partition offset and this SSD block should be the same as FAT cluster (the same alignment).

All advice? (I know should I defragment my HARD drive before moving :))

    Hey Buddy,

    > I do not have any Windows installation disc.
Create the Toshiba recovery disc as mentioned in the manual of the user before you exchange the disc, then you have a Setup disk. The Toshiba recovery disc will restore parameters of the box with all the drivers and tools. It can be used on each disc and how many times you want.

After this change the drive and start the Toshiba recovery disc. Follow the instructions on the screen and everything will be installed.

    Check this box!

How to reinstall Windows 7 pro after an upgrade to 500 GB HARD drive? How to access password protected data after relocation? How can I get a professional installation of Windows 7 DVD?

(I do not installed new HARD drive yet, but I intend)

    Hey Buddy,

You have created the Toshiba Recovery disk? Perfect!
After Exchange of HARD drive, you need this you to install Windows 7 disc. The Toshiba Recovery disk contains an image of the factory settings, which means that you will have the factory settings on the new HARD drive after the use of the disc. You must boot from it and follow the instructions on the screen.

    > How to access password protected data after relocation?
It would be interesting to know what data you mean exactly.
Before you reinstall Windows, you must back up all data on a disk for example external HARD.

  • Equium L300 - how to validate Windows?

After I put my laptop to original settings, I got a message to validate windows. When I clicked on the legend now validate windows I get a message saying that the key is incorrect. The number on the computer is different from the one on the Microsoft label on the underside of the computer.
Vista was ok before putting the laptop back to original settings. Vista was preinstalled when I got the laptop.

Any ideas how to validate Windows?

    > Vista was ok before putting the laptop back to original settings
The preinstalled Vista is already activated and so activation is not necessary and is not necessary.

I put t understand what you mean by: + I put my laptop to original settings + and Feliks you asked how you did that.

In your case, I would just try to install the operating system preinstalled by Toshiba yet once on your laptop using the Toshiba Recovery disk or the Toshiba HDD recovery option.
