  Ok. You have not provided this information before. So my previous post was a waste of time. You will need to buy HP recovery media.   Yes, because you must create this disk yourself using pre-installed recovery media creator. But I m wondering why ask this question here because it s mentioned in the user manual you must create this disk as soon as possible. If HDD recovery would fail or install another OS, you need this CD to restore preinstalled settings of Toshiba.

  If you use the (boot from it) Toshiba Recovery disk, you should be also asked if want to 32-bit or the 64 bit version of Windows 7. So I recommend creating these discs and use it to install Windows 7 64 bit.
