  I recently had all our information from an old iMac that is transferred to a new iMac (transfer from the Mac store).  Now when I try to open Photoshop CS6 in the dock, get a response that says: error configuration and underneath "error: 16»   He also told to uninstall and reinstall Photoshop.  The problem is that somewhere in the past, the Adobe installer has been removed, so am not able to continue the process - so am unable to uninstall.  Appreciate any help.  Have not had problems before.

  I don't own a Mac and never have, so I uninstalled little to offer by way of how to get something on one.  If the vacuum cleaner does not recognize that you have CS6 installed there are two things I could think that I would consider - 1) just try to reinstall CS6 2) just delete whatever it is, you can find from the CS6 and try to reinstall.  The second option is the least recommended from my point of view, I don't know what could be the impact, but I don't think trying the first would hurt a lot... it could just get setup in place and then offer you the option to uninstall.

  I bought two packages cs6 different at different times. I bought and installed first design standards. This figure includes photoshop cs6. I then found a good deal on the production premium, so I bought it. Production premium is supposed to come with photoshop extended. I installed prod. Premium and I still had the ordinary photoshop (opening of the start screen was simply the version of photoshop with circles instead of the version of photoshop with splashes of paint).

  I tried photoshop uninstallation and reinstallation of the prod. bonus disc, but it will allow to install photoshop it seems.

  I have Photoshop CS6 Standard already installed on my Mac (OS 10.8). My employer just bought the long version for me and I would like to upgrade. I have a valid serial number to do this.

  I understand that the software is the same, and according to the serial number, can unlock the extended part of the CS6. Y at - there no way of upgrading the installed version to extended by re-Internetworking new serial number or do I just install a second copy of PS CS6 and have 2 PS CS6 (a standard and a scope)?

  On the Windows Vista service pack 2 machine.

  I have successfully installed the Photoshop CS6 upgrade on my computer and it is running.  Two days later, I was hit by the virus of moeypack of FBI and had to do a system restore and headed Mallwarebytes to get rid of it.  The system restore point was right before I installed CS6, and after the restoration, CS6 had disappeared.   I tried to reinstall CS6 and now the installation program fails.  I ran Adobe Support Advisor and it sees no problems.   I ran choosing tool cleaner for Adobe creative suite CS6 and it did not help.  Photoshop CS5 is still on my computer and it still works OK.  I'm at a loss what to try next.

  Fixed!  by another post I downloaded and re-installed Adobe Application Manager, he ran and then tried to reinstall CS6 and it loaded and runs.

  Romsinha, I need to search through CS6 and Vista, I have a few friends who have used in machines Vista CS6.  Thanks for the response and if I have no problem in Vista, I'll post it here.
