• I have no welcome screen. How can I get the Welcome screen?

  I am running XP Home Edition.  When I turn on the computer, I get only a window where I can type the user and password, but do not get the Welcome screen I'm used on other computers I use XP.  I want the screen which shows each user next to a small table, where choose you one to connect.  I also can't get there in the menu START.  If I click START, then click on LOG OFF, I don't get the option to SWITCH USERS that would take me to the screen of welcome as well.  If I open the control PANEL and click USER ACCOUNTS, I can't find a prompt which is supposed to say "change the way users Log On.  It comes to have I'm supposed to find a checkbox indicating "use the Welcome screen.  Is not an option for this version of XP?  Am just missing something?  Help, please!

  The Print Screen (only or ALT + PRTSCR) button does not actually print.  What it does is copy the screen to the Clipboard.  Then, you paste in a graphical application (paint, which comes with XP, works) and print from the graphical application.

  You can also use IrfanView, an application that, among other things, free viewing of files screen captures and prints them out then.

  Hello and welcome to the forums.  You don't say what version of Captivate you use, but if you have version 5 or 5.5, the answer is Yes, you can have a blade of legend of text on the screen.  You can use a to do.  To open the effect controls panel, use the window menu, and then select effects.  Select the caption text that you want to have the scroll.  I'll demonstrate using version 5.  You should see:

  

  Click on the fx to open the menu effects.  Select the trajectory, then RightToLeft.

  Drag the right end of the effect of RightToLeft to length of parchment.  Here I show that I have extended it to the length of the slide, 3 seconds:

  

  Then look at the text of the caption on the slide.  If it is enabled, you should see a 1 in his lower right:

  

  The 1-click and you will get starting and ending points of the motioin effect.  Drag the start point at the right edge of the blade and the end point at the left edge of the slide.

  

  When the slide plays, the text caption will start on the right edge of the screen and pass through and leave the left edge of the screen in 3 seconds.

With Win7 I can't get to use the photos in a specific folder. IIRC, in XP, you can even select the files to include and exclude?

  My HD is partitioned and I use C: for OS and programs and D: for docs, FYI.

  It's working now. I have a click with the right button on the D: drive, wriggling on "Include in the library" and clicked on "Images". Not positive this is what fixed it, because I'm not sure how to UN - include it in the Library A - b test. But as long as it works...

  I bought a few AE models which the author said is clearly in 1280 x 720.

  Because my settings of sequence in Final Cut is 1920 x 1080, when I'm in AE, I put my composition settings at 1920 x 1080 matches my settings of Final Cut.

  However, when I visited the composition & I import into Final Cut, I cut a few black color around the perimeter of the video. It's like the visible space of the video is smaller and surrounded by black color space.

  Any ideas to make it full screen?

  If you have a layer of 1280 x 720 that you want to fill a 1920 x 1080 composition frame, you need to scale the layer to adapt. Did you do that?
