  If you have iCloud enabled library, all the photos that you delete from your phone will be deleted to iCloud and other devices connected to this library to iCloud. The more you can do to reduce storage required on the phone is to activate settings > iCloud > Photos > optimize iPhone storage.

  Apple is currently not all parameters of cloud storage only. You can suggest that more options are available through http://www.apple.com/feedback/icloud.html

  If you select that right click menu context then you block all images from this area and not a specific image, so do not use that.

  • Check exceptions in tools > Options > content: Load Images > Exceptions (for example sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net)

  You can use the following steps to check if the images are blocked:

  • Open the web page that has the missing images in a browser tab.
  • Click the site favicon (How do I know if my connection to a Web site is secure?) on the left end of the address bar.
  • Click on the "More information" button to open the "Page Info" with the Security tab selected (also accessible via "tools > Page Info").
  • Go to the Media of the window tab "tools > Page Info.
  • Select the first link of the image and scroll down through the list with the arrow down.
  • If an image in the list is grayed out and there is a check mark in the box "block Images of..." and remove this mark to unlock the images from this area.

  You can go to Options > Advanced Options > browser and change the default browser at the Hotspot browser.

  Can be done in Lightroom, but some recommend this method.

  1. close Lightroom,

  2 COPY the FILE MASTER containing all of your subfolders images for the new HD Ext Finder/Explorer or copy of the software, (using "copy", you can compare files to check that there is no corruption of the files being copied).

  3. open Lightroom.

  4. in the folder LR Panel-Right click your MASTER FILE and select "update folder location.

  5. in Finder/Explorer window opens - choose the new location of HD Ext. LR will then reference your images here.

  6. when everything works well from the new HD Ext you can remove the master file of the internal disk images.

  7. do you have a second HD Ext to make a "Clone" of the new HD Ext as backup.

  Welcome to the HP Forums!

  I understand that your HP MediaSmart software does not work properly.

  Try to uninstall then reinstall the MediaSmart Photo software to rebuild libraries from scratch. This should fix the paths of the files corrupt or metadata causing problems.

  You can download it here: HP MediaSmart Photo software. (Assuming you're on Windows 7 yet.)

  Make sure that your photos are not registered in the MediaSmart directory. If they are, move them to a safe place like images or a folder on the desktop.

  I would like to know if it works!

  become hidden?

  Reach... Control Panel / folder Options / View tab.
  ... To check "Show the hidden files and folders" / apply / OK.

  Let us know if the files reappear.

  IF you clear the device, (which you must do in your case), all your data remains safely in iCloud, assuming that you back up one more time before deleting.

  Right-click on your desktop, point to new, and then click folder.

  Drag the image you want and hold it on the new folder, it will say then exit "copy to the new folder.
