• Since the last upgrade box, 'Find in page' opens in a tab - still not open at the bottom of the screen. How can I do stay open all the time?

  Used to be when I opened find it (Control F or Menu/Edition/search) bar he would remain open at the bottom of the Firefox window in all tabs and new tabs, I opened. Now it doesn't open in the current tab; When I have tabs or open a new one, I have to open the search bar in the new tab.

  I placed in the folder where our reports are stored, but I can't figure out how to create the URL to be placed behind a button in the APEX?

  Assuming you are using Apache?

  You can place your Word documents in the same folder as your current Apex images directory (or a subdirectory it) and then reference them with a URL of the form http://yourserver/i/sample_word_file.doc. Alternatively, you can add a new Alias entry to your dads.conf file (located in your Apache/modplsql/conf directory) to expose the folder on your Web server that contains your Word via a URL like http://yourserver/word_docs/ files

  For example

  /Word_docs/ alias "c:\my_docs\technical_word_docs/".

  Download and run JDiskReport.

  There are a number of things you can do to- temporarily - free up disk space.  The only real solution, however, is to get a larger hard drive.

  • You can run Disk Cleanup (start > run > cleanmgr > OK)
  • You can reduce the size allocated for the restoration of the system to about 1 GB (right click on desktop > properties > system restore > settings)
  • You can disable hibernation (if you don't use it) (right click on an empty spot on the desktop > properties > screen saver > power > Hibernate)
  • You can disable the indexing of the drive, which will also speed up your computer a bit (http://lifehacker.com/031440/turn-off-indexing-and-speed-up-windows-xp)
  • You can reduce the size of your Internet browser cache (depending on the browser that you use)
  • You can remove most of the $NTUninstallKBxxxxxx files $ following the directions here: http://windowsxp.mvps.org/Hotfix_backup.htm (read the warnings in the gray box first)

  But none of these answers you will earn really large amounts of space for very long.  The term solution time is a bigger hard drive.

  In the meantime, download and run JDiskReport, that will show you graphically what files take up more space and seem to so indicate what files to delete or uninstall applications.

• How can I make several links PDF opened in the second tab, instead of a 3rd, 4th etc.

  I'm working on a project for my birthday 125 universities.  Essentially, I've created a long 125 digital book of the year, with a link to the actual digital Yearbook of the University for every year.  I wonder if there is a way I can make all links open in the same second page directory.

  IE: Main project is opened in a window, when I click on the hyperlink pdf 1939 Yearbook, the 1939pdf opens in the second window.  Then I want to find a way to make after this, on the home page, I can click on the link of the pdf 1940 Yearbook and directory 1940 load on the second window, replacing the 1939pdf, instead of simply open the 1940pdf on a third new tab/window?

  Note: I have all the PDF Online and downloaded directory, so I can make the hyperlink you send to the site, or do a thing of style download.

  I'm repeating this question here since I'm jamming and hope that a broader approach will help with an answer as soon as possible.

  I created an interactive PDF with internal and external links (URL). When the PDF file is downloaded and seen leaving in a browser, any external link opens in the same window. It is boring and forces a lot of button rear-ing. Is it possible to add an action or a script to force the document to open external links to URLS in a new window or tab?

  Hello everyone, and Merry Christmas!

  OK, so I have a Flash file in my Web site that contains a link to another page on the site. However for now, when I click it, the new link opens in a new tab, rather than on the same tab I want to happen.

  I did a "test page" with just the Flash file, I'm talking about so that you can see the code here:

  As you can see, this is the "enter" button which opens a new link in a new tab. Are there changes I could make to the code and/or new settings I could put in place so that the link opens in the same tab?

  If you cannot change the swf file, you cannot change how the swf file.  in particular, if clicking on a button in the file swf causes a web page open in a new tab, you cannot change to open in the same tab.
