Help, please! Thank you = D

Press the menu button then press settings, then press the call settings, then touch TTY mode and then turn it off. Its for the hearing impaired. That should do it.

  • The apple Software Update icon appeared on my desk.

Where coming, what do need me?

    Hi Pat,

You have installed iTunes or QuickTimes?  If so, you have installed Apple's products that may require updating.  If you do not quite trust the Update icon, and then delete and go to the Apple website and upgrade your software directly.  Sure, there may be other Apple products, you have installed, I don't know.  If you are concerned about the icon being some types of malware, then remove it and check your system for all Apple products that may require updating.  Then run a full scan with any security software you use just to be on the safe side.

I use Secunia PSI http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scanning/personal/ to maintain my software up to date and notify me when updates are available.  This is an additional layer of security because the new versions of software tend to be safest.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • New icon named "Office" suddenly appeared on my desk after update 13 Aug

Right now (August 13, 2014) after monthly automatic refresh of today, a new icon called simply 'Office' appeared on my desk. It wasn't a link to something else, but a text file that I hesitate to remove from the hand. The content of the file was/is:

    [. ShellClassInfo]
    LocalizedResourceName=@%SystemRoot%\system32\shell32.dll,-21769
    IconResource=%SystemRoot%\system32\imageres.dll,-183

That is - what, why do I have it cluttering up my desktop? What happens if I delete just the thing?

    Thank you.

Desktop.ini is one of these files which stores the information of software. I have
believe the content of this file go to the place where, if the desktop folder
It appears in a window of the Explorer, it would have the desktop icon. (I
do not mean a shortcut, I want to say the icon of Windows 7, which represents the
    desktop computer.)

This file, marked as 'hidden' and 'system', is considered in several files
and is used to store settings file, like the one I described above. He has been
designed to be used with Windows Explorer, then you probably would not see
too often than other technical users.

Your office is managed by Windows Explorer. It is clear from the Windows Explorer
parameters and above your file management application settings are
independent, why you were probably confused about the part .ini.

I think an update done probably a kind of maintenance that
noticed something was a little off (in this case, the 'missing'
Desktop.ini file) and thought he was doing the right thing by putting
it there, as I saw these files desktop.ini apparently randomly reappear
from time to time (at least at times, when I had the hidden system files + showing).
However, as I said above, I too ask how it happened all of a sudden there.

The notice says you have an application that you previously downloaded or purchased in App World > My World, which is ready for an upgrade on your device. Look there for the upgrade.

To clear the notification on the screen, find the alert message in your main folder, read or delete it.

  • Unknown icon for blackBerry Smartphones

The SMS, I am unable to send texts an unknown icon of red square with clock like hands at 3 o clock. Why is - this suddenly appeared?

Hello and welcome to the community!

Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    Best!

  • Volume icon appears at random then spend or receive the phone call

    Hello

Without doubt, I went through all the threads it are on the theme of the volume icon, but have not found anything that fits my 'problem '. I have an iPhone SE and sometimes when I make or receive a phone call the grey volume icon appears on the screen. I attributed it to the apps from third-party such as IMDB or Facebook but tried various scenarios and honestly can't pin it down to a specific. Someone at - it a similar problem? To be honest, it's quite annoying to see the gray icon volume pop up like this out of nowhere. I should add that all is well in terms of volume and the volume keys. No clue as to what causes this problem?

    Peace,

    Wojtek

How do you know that all is well with the volume keys? They can work properly (increase or decrease in volume when you press on), but there might be a problem with the hardware with them or the mute button.

Make an appointment on the Apple store and bring the phone to be checked.

  • Icons appear as rectangular forms (Unicode)!

Such as facebook or twitter icons appear only as rectangles: http://www.4shared.com/photo/n5x25lf2ba/Untitled.html
Some time is must show the following: http://www.4shared.com/photo/8km-7eNgba/Untitled1.html
Apparently, the problem doesn't exist in Firefox, for the icons to appear perfectly in Google Chrome. This happened to me in the morning, without any changes to the settings or so... knowing that everything was fine until then. I looked for alternatives elsewhere, but nothing seems to work!
Any help would be greatly appreciated, and I thank you already for all attempts to
Help me find a solution to my problem.

Yes, they seem to have corrected it in part.
The web console no longer displays an error for fontawesome - webfont.ttf and a police audit confirms that the server sends a header of HTTP access control, if at least this police work.
The fonts/fontawesome - webfont.woff is always rejected and watch size 0 in the web console.

  • Can I delete the folder titled "Old data from Firefox" which appeared on my desk?

About the old folder of Firefox that strangely appeared on my desk - then - I delete it? I like a clean house. Didn't read where someone asked this question and got an answer. He has been there since March 10, according to the properties button. I just noticed it. But I don't want to delete something where I can lose the extensions or something else. If it is just a backup, can't just get rid of him. I don't know what to do with it anyway.

If you have not noticed any missing data after reset of your, you can delete this folder, but I think that it would be better to archive somewhere where it doesn't bother you. Perhaps to create a balance of things folder you will empty on new year if you don't need then.
