  Pay attention to advice on graphics cards for After Effects CS5. Most people will give you information that is valid for CS6 and later versions, which will help for you, since everything to do with the GPU has been changed in After Effects CS6.

Still, the mac worked perfectly well (no overheating of the noise, nothing) and all of a sudden - no understandable reason or external actions, the graphics card has failed. Unfortunately, I do not have a guarantee of more. At least, I can access my documents by connecting two Macs, so I hope that the material is not affected.

  My model (1502) apparently only has a single integrated graphics processor.

  Here is a video card which should do what you need.  It's a little above your budget, but it is really worth the extra money.  The plug on the State of EVGA Web site she needs at least 300W to work properly.  However, there have been several reports on the forum think 400W is needed.  Read the reviews to see what users have to say about it.
