  Glad that you were able to determine what text frame, it has been. We have not yet isolated the source of the bug, but in the next update (due soon), some information about the offending text block (title page and a short excerpt from the content) will be saved in the MuseLog.txt file (located in your Documents folder).

• Captivate 9: project offshoot freezes and no longer preview or publish

  Hello

  I have a captivate project 9, with branching activated. Whenever I went to preview or publish the project it crashes, on slides at random.

  The branching is created using advanced actions of "go to...". "and I have tried editing to HTML5, SWF and both.

  I even enabled scalability, tested on different browsers and tried a load of different patches!

  Any ideas?

  You said branch never updated before, so I didn't know who was involved.

  I came across several issues where conscious branch comes into conflict with other parameters of such Captivate that submit all the and other options quiz.

  If conscious Branch participated in this issue and turn it off has advantages, then I would say that your actual issue is somewhere in your quiz slides, or perhaps with the pre-test if you have one.

• Cannot preview or publish OTS

  Yesterday, everything was fine. I edited my Captivate project and everything worked very well. Today, when I open this file in particular or any other file that I worked in the last few weeks, although I can open them and edit them, I can't preview or publish. To be more precise, when I saw them, I just get a blank white screen, and the progress bar of slide in the preview of Captivate at the top area says "0 7 Slide." How is it a 0 slide? And when I post the CP file, the resulting SWF is also completely white/white.

  If anyone is interested, I found the problem. The custom pre-loader we were using was developed in Flash 8, and apparently the CP is not like that... Front loaders coming shipped as part of the CPR Gallery have been developed in Flash 7. So we'll just return using the front loader by default and therefore, we have not any problem of preview or the publication of our CP files.

  Sync does not support cross-browser. I have working installation of Firefox Firefox installation only, with the synchronization server in the middle.

  The use of the term 'cloud' could be misleading; the data are encrypted and are decrypted in Firefox to be usable. Without the correct hidden 'key' [created from the password] data can not be decrypted and Sync does not connect to attempt to recover the data of the user.

  Not recommended to use Sync as a backup media for a clean reinstall of the OS. Some users have done the job, while many others have involuntarily lost their data because of stupid mistakes, they did, and wrong to understand how works the synchronization service.

  I think if there is more than one line of text, then it would be best to drag a text box, place the cursor inside the text box and paste it (Ctrl or Cmd-v)
