• How to edit text in Design view - that is to say get one I have instead of the arrow cursor

  DW CS6 it is a very clear basis on the question of the concept. Normally, I work in code view and have no problem. Sometimes, there is a big block of text in a paragraph that is in a div.

  I want to correct a simple typo or insert a text more directly from the view in design mode. However, almost all the time, when I click on-site I change, the cursor is an arrow and the whole div Gets a yellow border. I still have the selection arrow, not the vertical bar I have to edit.

  Design mode can get quite cranky when your code contains errors.

  Check the validator to http://validator.w3.org and make sure you are working with clean code before resorting to wiping preferences, or by reinstalling config files.

  If your code is clean and it is still not allow to click your text in Design view, you may have a problem of indexing of z. I noticed on the pages that use a lot of positioning (APDivs) you can accidentally hide your text boxes with transparent/virgins areas of other elements and cause problems when trying to access this text at a later date.

  It's all guesswork without however to see your actual page.

• F4580 won't perform OCR (editable text analysis)

  Hi, I just bought F4580 and it works great except, because there is no option to scan a document and perform the OCR (OCR). I have the options to scan the document, but all the options indicate that it will be parsed as an image. I read in the manual that I might need to install additional software to activate OCR, but when I choose this option on the original CD I got it appears with the option to re - install the whole package. And since I already installed at all, it attempts to delete all and causes a huge mess. Is there a reason why there is no way to install OCR integrated for this scanner? I have the printer connected via USB cable to a computer which uses Windows 7. Thanks for any idea you may have.

  I tried all the links in the thread mentioned and can report the following:

  -OCR software link does not install, claiming that I have does not need this software.

  -C4600 software installs fine (when it searches for a printer that I chose to install it later), but there is no OCR capabilities with this suite.

  -Suite OJ6500 [http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?product=3795314&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&lang=en&cc=us] installs well so (again, after the detection of the printer to jump) and install OCR IRIS (she is even among what to install).  After that, Solution Center shows 'Scan to find PDF', ' text (OCR) to rich TEXT format "," text (OCR) at their word "and text (OCR) for Wordpad.  Tested the first option and it worked fine.

  Thank you!  I thought about it.  It is possible.  It's a document that I bought at TeachersPayTeachers.  The creator allowed to edit, but I don't have the original document to change, just the PDF file.  For reference, I clicked on DISPLAY in the main menu.

  Then I clicked on SHOW/HIDE.  Then COMPONENTS toolbar.  Last, I clicked on VIEW the PROPERTIES BAR.  Thank you very much for the help.  I hope this helps others.
