How to play games windows 95 under windows 7. I think I have the 64 bit version. I've tried troubleshooting for older programs tool, but nothing does not open. Can I install a second operating system?. The game I want to play is the 25th anniversary of star trek

    Hi alecfss,

Well, I don't think that it is possible to play games Windows 95 to Windows 7.

    1. When you mention "install a second operating system", are you referring to the installation of a program, something of the stature of the virtual XP 95 games?

In this case, download and install Virtual XP , from this link and run Windows 95 games that is better equipped to manage the games for windows 95/98.

2 Alternatively, are you referring to the installation of an operating system to dual boot?

What version of Windows are you on and what service pack level?  Have you tried to install remove\re games yet?  If this is not the case try of removing\re - install games and see if this changes the behavior.  Also, be sure that you are current with all updates and hardware drivers as well. • Solitare game won't go away!

Hi all.  I play solitare a lot and I had a game that I lost, but it saves.  Now, whenever I'm going to play, it asks if I want to continue my game.  I kept it, won, lost, it closed about 50 times and it always happens.  How can I get this "continuous" game go!  He has been there for more than a year.  Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hello QicVic,

You don't want the saved to start solo game.

    1. Open the Games folder by clicking the Start button, tap all programs, games, and then clicking Games Explorer.

    2. Select a game.

    3. In the toolbar, click the arrow next to the room, and then click saved games.

    4. Right-click the saved game, you want to delete and then click on remove.

I would like to know how everything goes.

    Nice day.

  • How to make games faster

I currently have a desktop computer HP Pavilion S5310f with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. It has 4 GB of RAM (3.75 usable), a 640 GB hard drive, two AMD Athlon II 3 GHz processors and a NVIDIA GeForce 6100 SE 256 MB memory dedicated graphics card and the CUDA technology. My question is this: How can I dedicate more memory system, tell the graphics card 1 GB instead of 1/4 GB, so that I can play better games than before. My computer is not a computer game, but I can still play in recent games, but quality must be placed down to the bottom and there is lag. If it is not possible, I should just by a different graphic card? How are you going to those looking for? And he comes into conflict with the current (can you have more than one graphics card?)

I'm not an expert in the game, but I think that there is little to choose between ATI/AMD (AMD owns now ATI) and maps NV, as long as they are put in correspondence spec wise (see maps).

Choose what best meets your needs for the best cost, rather than do it.

Quickly looking at the specs for the games you mention and looking at the recommended specifications DO NOT the minimum specification (min spec will usually get a game running at a playable rate (just) and everything is turned down), the highest card required was a 8800GT NV, if whatever it is level with or above which should do what you need.

Once again, from the charts, something like an ATI HD5670 or HD5770 should be enough I would say for around £60-70 pounds ish or £80 - £100 ish respectively. It depends on what you want to spend.

GPU you buy will have memory on board. Get at least 512 M min and if all goes well 1 G and if we can choose the fastest best, i.e. DDR5 memory not DDR3.

The other thing you should consider, is a free space to really adapt to the card (some cards are larger than others) and consumption of new maps, some cards will take much longer than others.

Personally, with the processor you have, I doubt there will be much interest to aim too high wrt the GPU, with respect to the modern games really your CPU will eventually become the next bottleneck and you will have spent more money on the GPU only really usable by your system.

If all goes well will live gamer high range "chip" soon and confirm or deny, but I think that something in the HD 5670 (or just above map AMD or NV) should meet your needs.

I'm not sure to tweak windows to allocate more memory, but even if you did I doubt it would make much difference with the GPU you have currently.

  • How to install games on external hard drive applications

    Hello people,

I have my app game downloaded from the app store called rack 2 & I transferred to my USB key. Noting that the loading of the game takes too long, I decided to transfer it to my external hard drive. After the transfer of the application of game on the external hard drive, it does not start. So, I decided to reinstall the game by downloading it again from the store, but my disk space.

So, I have in fact TWO problems:

    (1) how can I reinstall the application to an external hard drive? and...

    (2) how to free disk space on my hard drive internal by disabling certain files on "people"?

If someone could shed some light on me here, it would be highly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

You should never get too low on your space of hard drive as the OS needs a minimum 10-15 GB of free space at any time to work properly. So, if you do any movie or image/photo, rendering and editing editing works best if you have at least as much vacuum you have temporary files in your project. I can easily raise 100 GB or more temp. files for a one hour film HD, so I keep a lot of empty hard disk space.

In order to get a few things on your hard drive, the usual space hoggers are therefore, movies, photos, etc. You can move all those who in their library on an external hard drive, and after having checked they are working, delete them from your hard drive.

Generally, the application work better if they are installed on your internal hard drive; I'm not a gamer, so I'm not familiar with the specifics of the game you're talking about. • Slowdown of the mysterious computer/Firefox? NEED TO ANSWER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE IN-GAME COLLEGE CLASSROOM WORK

At approximately 11:55 this morning (7 February), I noticed that Firefox takes an abnormally long time to finish loading a page. I used CCleaner and anti-virus software to see if a virus might have been a part of it, or if my computer needed a good cleaning. Which was no help at all, and the sites (including Google) take a long time to load. I tried to turn on/off my computer, and it was no help either.

I made the point that there was an update of FireFox, so I tried. Nothing. Nothing at all.

Unlike my problem with Java, I really NEED my sites to load completely (as in, the small rotating wheel to stop turning). Without it, I can't access the forums where I post my work in CLASS in COLLEGE.

I don't know if there is a problem with my computer or Firefox itself. It baffles me because until then, my internet and computer had been working fine and dandy and I had not added or deleted anything. In addition, my antivirus software is up-to-date.

In short, what the hell is going on and how to fix it? Please do not use technical terms, because I'm very bad in deciphering these. Also, please give instructions on how to solve this problem, if anyone knows how it can be fixed.

NEED A REPLY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, BECAUSE IT IS IMPORTANT TO DO THE JOB IN THE CLASSROOM.

EDIT: I checked if IE worked as it should, and it was. It's downright FAST, same. Yet, I prefer Firefox, once again, how can I solve this problem?

The reset Firefox feature can solve a lot of problems in restaurant Firefox to its factory default condition while saving your vital information.
Note: This will make you lose all the Extensions, open Web sites and preferences.

To reset Firefox, perform the following steps:

    1. Go to Firefox > help > troubleshooting information.
    2. Click on the button 'Reset Firefox'.
    3. Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is finished, it will display a window with the imported information. Click Finish.
    4. Firefox opens with all the default settings applied.

Information can be found in the article Firefox Refresh - reset the settings and Add-ons .

  • How to add games in the section add/remove?

Having just changed since an other Netbook (total nightmare) for the (amazing) Toshiba manufacture, my daughter (10) I was wondering how is the number of games in the area Add / Remove programs is much less than in section of add/remove the other factory?
Are there other sources of games for this machine and if so, how can I add the to add a deletion?

    Thank you very much
    Welcoming

Add Remove Programs seems to be a cut from the version of the package manager, which is normally executed by user root/master.
Go to the menu Preferences/main / administration and click the synaptic package manager. This will add to the menu under admin selection. Close the windows.

Go to the package synaptic/administration manager. This will open add it remove programs in their ENTIRETY.
Willl you find more games listed. The disadvantage of this addition in the menu list i gives it FULL access to the OS and games programs. Remove some programs from here could also remove the dependencies to other programs.

Maybe you can configure yourself as user and add or remove root for her. She created without admin priveliges.

    Hope this helps
