• There is no disc drive

  Adobe first items 13 (current version) reports the following error message when you open an existing project (new):

  "There is no disk drive.  Please insert a disk in drive E:."

  1. takes 5 clicks on 'Cancel' to close the error message.

  2. my computer has NO active drive E.

  3. the software seems to work normally as soon as the closure of the error.

  4. do not have the software through process of creating CD yet.

  5. the same error message is displayed when you exit the software.

  6. the only big change on the computer since the last use EPA 13 is a Windows 7 upgrade to the current version of Windows 10.

  It is a mistake to drive no. known for elements first 13/13.1. The Adobe solution is to remove or disable the file named OldFilm.AEX.

  In Windows 7 64 bit, this file is located

  Local disk C

  Program Files

  Adobe

  Adobe Premiere Elements 13

  Plug-Ins

  Commune

  NewBlue

  and in NewBlue folder is the OldFilm.AEX that you remove or disable renaming of OldFilm.AEX to OldFilm.AEXOLD.

• How install a font when my computer gives me NO opportunity to do? (I tried it all)

  My computer won't let me install fonts.

  I know I'm very late to this conversation, but it seems that each forum help tech I go about it is 5 or 6 years. So hoping to get a response. I'm a graphic designer and desperately need to use other fonts than I have on my computer.

  I tried all the methods suggested by the forums and help Windows on the Internet:

  -J' tried to double click on the TrueType font file. Nothing happens.
  -J' tried right clicking on the TrueType font file for hitting "install". There's no option 'Install' in the menu dropdown.
  -J' tried to drag / drop the TrueType font file in Control Panel > fonts. It does not appear.
  -J' tried to copy and paste the TrueType font file in Control Panel > fonts. It won't let me paste.
  -J' tried to go in Control Panel > fonts and clicking file > install font. There is no "Install font" option under file.
  -J' tried to move the TrueType font file to my desktop to install it from there. It cannot move on my desk.
  -My user account is an administrator account. There is absolutely no reason that my computer should restrict to install anything.

  You can try the filter > noise > antiparasitics, then move to curves and drag the end of the highest point of the scale, a tad to deliver pure a pure white background.

  For dealing with some updates of software is not incompatible with this version, I need a new OSX.

  However, some of my versions of software does not work on 10.7 and above. My solution so I guess a dual boot?

  I have my software of MBR on a 500 GB SSD. I have a second internal 500GB SSD that is almost empty, I assigned as a disk scratch to Final Cut Pro 7 and some other functions. I thought I would setup an OSX later on this drive to use when I want to run the software that doesn't like Snow Leopard.

  I've seen many ways to do it, but none like exactly my situation. So I hope for help or links on how to do this without anything spoil.

  I would appreciate advice on what OSX to put on this drive. The software needed is DazStudio 3D and Ponomusic. Is no longer, browsers such as Chrome and Safari are updated to 10.6. as well.

  Bigger issues are I love itunes 10 and FCP7

  The software that I would lose and have to buy new versions full if I updated all of the machine are Filemaker Pro and Quickbooks and quite honestly, is that simply I don't have the funds at this time for these versions. Two of my versions are too old to do an upgrade.

  Put a blank disc in a sleigh and install on your Mac. Then, run the installer of El Capitan and format the disc and be mounted directly to the blank formatted disc now.
  Note that bit of your current applications will not run beyond Snow Leopard

  If you buy a commercial version of win7 you are provided with the installation dvd of bit versions and a unique activation key. You cannot install both versions.

  Most of the programs will install without problem in a 64-bit version of victory, there is very little that will not be installed on Windows 64-bit.

  You install programs as usual, you don't need to change any settings or install to anywhere other than their default locations. -C' IE you do not manually select the x 86 folder or any other folder.

  If the program you are installing has the ability to install a specific version of bit, and it does not work, then the problem is that options program installers, you must contact the program support

  A retail version of Office 2010 also comes with two versions of ILO.

  Having a 64-bit version of victory does NOT mean that you need to install 64-bit Office, in fact MS recommends that stick you with 32-bit Office (reason being compatibility with various plug0ins Office)

  And of course the 32-bit version of win only supports 4 GB of memory
