  I think that the presets should be installed in the C:\Users\Frann-Serenity\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom and perhaps even deeper in the folder to develop.   Hi FrancieLou,

  The presets are stored in images when you have an option enabled in Lightroom preferences.

  So, if you do not want them to be stored in the pictures folder, you must follow the steps below:

  1. go in the Lightroom preferences > Presets tab

  2 uncheck "save stations with this catalog" and click Ok.

  Then, the presets would be stored in default C:\Users\UserName\Appdata\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\.

  I have a large Inbox and have moved all content in Thunderbird to a new folder I created under local folders. When I go on my windows file system and look in the profile folder, I found that the file/folder Inbox is always MASSIVE, even if I moved ALL the content in a completely new folder inside Thunderbird.

  Why is this? And how can I move all of my old emails to another folder inside Thunderbird as the original Watch windows file Explorer Inbox folder folder/now are low, with the new file/folder wholesale?

  Right-click on the Inbox in Thunderbird in the folders pane, and then select Compact... Messages are not physically deleted from the folder until you do this.

  How can I get the data files in the folder/data ($HOME) using the .bar packaging?

  You cannot package the file into the data, you copy your files at startup, if they don't not exist your app/native/data for example

  If you have improved the Lr3 beta catalog you will need to keep because it I still have the active catalog. The only other file I would have bothered to delete would be the preferences file.

  Hi, I got the following error while trying to open Lightroom 5.7 "failed assertion. I am running windows 10, but I think that the problem is not due to the update of the operating system (it worked fine for awhile because I've upgraded). Lightroom seems to rather be trying to open a catalog that has been removed ("opening catalog... ("is displayed with the message"assertion failed").   Well, I don't know what exactly gave permission to read/write what should you and what files are needed. Here's what I did: uninstalled the Lightroom, deleted all files with the name of adobe in there, restart, then reinstalled the Lightroom, and it finally works.

  I have a lot of MP3s on my Clip +, but realize that I put there duplicates in different folders. My plan was to use a command prompt to get a list of all the files on the device, and then use a utility that shows me duplicate names and the locations of the files. I could then simply delete the Clip +.

  The problem, it is that the Clip + is simply presented as a 'portable' in Windows Explorer (Windows 7 Home) - there is no way to assign a drive letter :-( Which seems a bit odd, as it is, after all, plugged into one of my USB ports... I used the dir command on all drives assigned in my computer as "devices with removable storage". One of them must be the port to which the Clip + is attached, but they all say "device is not ready". So the Clip + is not identified in this way.

  Is it possible at all to get a list of the files that are on the Clip +?

  That's how the Clip + shows when connected in USB MTP mode.  If you connect mode MSC (defined in the control panel), Clip + comes as a disk.

  But: the problem you have is, Windows displays only the files that have been transferred in the Clip + under USB mode then logged in as.  I don't know if this applies to designated offices, but - you could try and see.

  Another solution would be to copy all of your files on your computer, under MTP mode; Delete the files on the Clip +. move the Clip + mode MSC; and then transfer the files to the Clip +.  Now, you should be able to see the files under Windows (always connected in MSC mode) and can run the utilities that you had planned.
