  File under $ORACLE_HOME and the owner is the user 'oracle '.

  You will need to source the file VISION_ebs.env , and then deliver "env | fate"and you should see the set env variables. You can connect as sysdba.

  I am running a vm Centos57 VM Workstation 8 under Windows 7 Ultimate on a box of Alienware.

  After the virtual machine starts, I'm going to VM > Removable Devices and connect my Western Digital external hard drive.

  I know that the connection is successful, because if I go to/dev/disk/by-name, I can see the name of the removable device.

  So far so good.

  I solved by changing the files tnsnames.ora and listener.ora adding the entry external web url "ec2-10-20-30-40.compute-1.amazonaws.com" and am now able to access outside.

  I am creating a forms that are connected to an oracle database and I get there and also to create a simple HTML that contain a link to the pdf that i form ' v was built and I host this page on a web server to iis on the same machine, and when I open the page in the same machine and click on the link then the pdf form loaded and properly open through the Acrobat to inside the brwoser, but the problem raised by trying to open this form from another machine that connected to the hosting machine where a notification telling me I have to build the ODBC DSN connectivity again on another machine and I think that should be made on each user's computer.

  My question, is there a way to allow other users to open the pdf form through their web browser without the need to rebuild a databese DSN connectivity in their machines too (IE leave only on the hosting machine connectivity). I read PAUL's response to the station "Database connection and what is the best method" recommending to use a separate form for this case, but I did not understand how.

  Tips, scripts or links is really appreciated, thank you in advance.

  No there would be a form... .the intermediate process would be a server (for example, a servlet) program. EForm th post (via HTTP or HTTPs) to the servlet and the servlet would interpret the data entry and establish the connection to the DB and the results, put them in shape and return to the form. As mentioned this can be done easily using LiveCycle server, but you don't have to use that if you prefer to write your own.

  You have to slide the screen from the top down, from the top of the screen to the bottom of the screen and you will see that the url bar appears again. If you want to enable the preference that the url bar is always visible, there is a toggle switch on the toolbar, you can activate in the opposite State, in which it is currently.

  Your laptop must be in the lab server LAN network to access, or else you should have the VPN connection to the LAN in which the lab server exists.

  Also to access objects of database in your schema to Application Express workspace, you can use the workshop of SQL as mentioned by Tommy or you can use Oracle SQL Developer, since you have the credentials for the schema to connect to and related IE required database server information full domain name / ip address of the server port on which the listener database service is running, database SID/database service name listening.

  You can access the integrated database using the db - psql.sh, located in the server-3.0.x/bin directory script.  This script will configure the connection parameters of the path and of the appropriate library database.

  I guess you're hurting understand the definition of Client instant, there isn't a tool or application or tool GUI as a sql developer or another that you can start using. It's just client installed with the minimum characteristics
