How to add a drop-down list interactive

I want a drop-down list that will add a set of fields based on the choice of the list.

In this case, we want users to perform their function and inspiring than selected title we need to fill specific license information. I have not found a javascript (or I don't have the skills) to get there. Forms, I've done in the past which would just hide the unnecessary fields, but is there a way to actually have the fields become active, or appear depending on the choices in the list?

Yes, it is possible. The general code would be something like this (as a custom drop-down list field validation script):

var field1 = this.getField("FieldName1");
var field2 = this.getField("FieldName2");
var field3 = this.getField("FieldName3");

if (event.value=="Value1") { // Show field1, hide the rest
     field1.display = display.visible;
     field2.display = display.hidden;
     field3.display = display.hidden;
} else if (event.value=="Value2") { // Show field1 and field2, hide the rest
     field1.display = display.visible;
     field2.display = display.visible;
     field3.display = display.hidden;
} else if (event.value=="Value3") { // Show all fields
     field1.display = display.visible;
     field2.display = display.visible;
     field3.display = display.visible;
} else { // hide all fields
     field1.display = display.hidden;
     field2.display = display.hidden;
     field3.display = display.hidden;
}

PS. Be sure to check the option to validate the selected value of the field drop-down immediately (under properties of the field - Options).

    Frankly, ANY link can offer a drop down.

    Take a look at This turorial.

    That you will get your menu drop-down. Therefore, only.

    Now, on your top menu (or any level where you want to have an image instead of text to do this):

    (I copy the HTML structure in the tutorial here):

    Now, suppose you want an image instead of the word 'works '. You'll want the image to be sized correctly, and if you look at the CSS, you will see that it is 112 pixels wide by 52 high. If your image is about of these dimensions, you're all set.

    So instead of 'items', you insert your picture.

    Fact.

  • How to add the drop-down filter list in a dashboard button/menu

    Hi all

    I created a custom dashboard related activities, but I don't know how to put the drop down filter the list (for example, exercise & fiscal month) on top of the dashboard as Pipeline analysis (report SOD predefined) as well as the button 'Go '.
    Clues?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello!

    In the page analysis of the design, you must create a new dashboard guest.
    Go to Design Analisys, select a report type (doesn't matter which) e.g. addresses of account (1).
    Then on the top left of the page, you will see 3 icons, and the third is new dashboard fast....

    Once you have created your command prompt, you can save it as the other reports, and you can add it to your dashboard.

    I hope this will help, do not hesitate to ask for more!

  • How to fill the drop-down list components installed?

    I have installed Eclipse and the blackberry for eclipse plugin that includes the component pack 4.5.0. I have installed all of the components listed on this page: http://na.blackberry.com/eng/developers/javaappdev/javaeclipseplug.jsp. The versions 4.2.1 and 4.3.0 are zip files that I add to Eclipse by using the software update-> add the site-> archive. Version 4.6.0 and 4.6.1 4.7.0 are exe files that settle in the location C:\Program Research In Motion\BlackBerry JDE component Package 4.x.x.

    In the folder plugins on the box, I see version 4.3.0 and listed 4.5.0 4.2.1. When I go on Blackberry JDE-> installed components and click the drop-down list box, the only pack component that I see is 4.5.0. How do the other components packs appear?

    Well it's resolved, I guess. After about 3 hours, the software updates-> add the site-> repository for the Blackberry update works. When I installed the components as a result, they appear in the drop-down list. It's a little confusing, because I already tried this at least 5 times and each time before eclipse was a java error when doing this.

  • Drop-down list interaction - reset

    Hello

    I use 8 Captivate to create a sensitive project. On a blade of 'menu', I've added two drop interactions and an OK"" button. The result of the selection of the User Guide which slide I jump too when the user press the GO button. When I run the project first, everything works as expected. When I go back to the menu slide and change the values in the drop-down; the new values do not seem to be recognized. I added two text boxes and lists the contents of the variables assigned to the drop-down boxes. First, the text boxes show the correctly selected drop-down list values. Return to the menu, the variables are not updated with unrolling newly modified values. How can I reset this interaction during the load of the slide menu?

    Thank you

    Peter

    Hello

    I was able to reduce it to a problem IE 11, since the same project works fine in Chrome and FireFox. Support Adobe indicates that it is a known and open problem that will be fixed at some point in the future. For the moment, since 95% of my user base is IE11, I can't use the pull down menu interaction in a sensitive project. Thanks for your help and de3bugging suggestions. I appreciate it!

  • Hide the fields to add fields drop-down list in the advanced search mode.

    On the drop-down list to add fields in the field of the advanced search displayed by an af:query, is there a way to hide some of the attributes? He seems to show all the attributes of the default VO.

    The fields must be visible on other pages that use the VO. Table Panel and search queries will only to display a subset of the fields in the VO.

    Assigning to the attribute Display tip to hide will not do; at least this seems to be the case, because if I do that, then, the field is not available on the data control to be placed on other pages.

    I guess I could create a separate VO just to the search page; but I try to avoid this, it invites excessive maintenance as the system grows. If no indication on how to hide a field VO on add fields while leaving the field to be displayed on other pages would be appreciated.

  • How to add my drop down menu on my site

    I followed a dreamweaver video to create a dropdown menu with pure css which turned out to be great.  My problem is when you follow a video I followed the instructions and started a new html and then attached the css styles to the new html called "dropdownmenu.  But as I don't know how to put it in my index page.  I understand that css is the rules but how to I get in my website.  Most of the prob an easy one for all what you experts out there!

    I hope someone will help me please.

    Yes that's correct.

    karenserjy1 wrote:

    If I'm not mistaken the two copies of the dropdown.css can I?  I hope that it's nice and clear for you!

    Again thank you very much for your help... it is very enjoyed!  I spend most of my time learning to youtube and don't really like to bother people, but after an hour of scratching my head, I gave up!

    Forget the folder 'drop-down list' - as a space for experimentation.

    Add another link in your index under the link page to your styles.css css main as below:

    Now copy the HTML menu on the navMenu.html page and paste it into the index page where you want the menu to appear.

    It is not uncommon to have two or three linked css style on one page sheets.

    Hi all
    I created a drop-down list field in the user form, can someone tell me how to fill in OIM design console

    Hello

    You must after steps.

    1. create a search by going to the definition of research for example Lookup.org.emp.type.
    2. Add the code and decodes the value by clicking on Add. These values will be filled in the combobox.
    3. go to the UDF then go to the Properties tab. You select UDF created and then click Add Property.Then select Code Lookup in name of the property, and then in value, you put the search that you created.

    Let me know if you still need anything.

  • How to restore a drop-down list menu workspace on the toolbar options from Photoshop CC?

    After I had tried "IU 200% scale" and then returned to the standard user interface, the workspace drop-down list has disappeared from the options bar. How can I restore it? (I can always exchange via the options menu under the tab of the window, the workspaces).

    Reset preferences:

    Hold down the CTRL - Shift - Alt from the cold Photoshop start.  If you get the keys to the low enough - quickly and you have to be VERY fast - it prompts you to confirm the removal of your established preferences, which will lead to them all being the default value.

    Hello

    You can create the same drop-down list using the ToolTip Widget composition but the only way that you can add on turnover and deployment will be discoloration.

    Please check the attached file. http://adobe.ly/1IxxKfO

    Another alternative is to create a lively border animation and use it in Muse as a file OAM.

  • How to produce a drop-down list simple code description for the OPS?

    I'm sorry this is a basic question, but I tried for days, and I see nowhere else to find an answer.

    I need a simple drop-down list, not a search. Here is the list account 10 or if items. It is based on a view that contains a code value, and a description. I want that all the descriptions to be available at all times. Just click on the arrow, and the entire list is displayed. When the user selects an entry, the code associated with the discription fills a related attribute.

    Can someone please tell me how I can produce such a simple thing, or point me to the documentation?

    Thank you.

  • How to clear a drop-down list box

    OK, been awhile, here goes:

    I have a combobox non-Edition and 3 radio buttons.

    When I select a radio button, I have reset the items in the list and run:
        category.getSelectionModel().clearSelection();
         category.setValue(null);
    The intent is a new list, nothing pre-selected and invited him to display in the text box (?). And it seems to work at first.

    However, when I select the original square, the first list is restored, and the drop-down list box shows my original selection!

    I would like that the prompt as in other radio buttons. I can not even find where the initially select value is stored! It SEEMS that the selection is cleared, as the value, it's the control renderer displays always a selection, even if the previous list, he showed the guest
         templateToggle.selectedToggleProperty().addListener(new ChangeListener<Toggle>() {

    This looks like a bug: you must file a JIRA for her.

    As you said, the State seems to be correctly updated: getSelectionModel () .getSelectedIndex () and getSelectionModel.getSelectedItem () return the correct value.

    The only solution I can find is to define an explicit Circus on the drop-down list box and call setText (null) on the circus to clear the displayed selection:

    import java.util.Map;
