How to attach a FILE to an e-mail.

I need to send FILES from time to time. Mail clients usually do not support this. Google Drive will be, but they indicate that Firefox requires an application. I get the message using Google Drive to download a FOLDER-

"Your browser does not support the download of entire folders.

We recommend that you use the Chrome browser instead, which supports file downloading.

You can also install an applet to Upload folder based on Java in your browser. »

I would like to use Firefox. Where can I find "based on Java applet file download" referenced?

I appreciate your help.

Try following the directions under "Upload files through Google Drive (in one browser other than Chrome)" to: https://support.google.com/drive/answ.../2424368

Let us know how it works.

  • iCloud drive appears when I want to send a file to, say, Messages, or attach a file to an e-mail.

How can I make the drive iCloud on my macbook pro (OS X El Capitan, v. 10.11.4) show when I want to send a file that are stored at anyone? Today was Messages which I pop up. Other times, it was in Outlook for Mac or Facebook.

What I ended up doing today opened the relevant folder on iCloud, select the file and share it. If I try the function "send a file" in the Messages, the drive does not appear. I have visible in the sidebar of Finder, but I can see it only when I'm in = the Finder, not when I use a soft.

I checked all the settings I can think, looked through the articles of help and FAQ on apple.com, but couldn't find an answer to something that seems simple enough.

    Thanks for any help!

Messages for OSX is very basic. You cannot navigate to the iCloud drive to get a file to attach.

You can however, as you can see, push a file to iCloud drive to the Message using the share menu on iCloud drive.

That is how it is designed. The iOS app is similar, but you can attach a picture here but only from the photo app or the Photos app, once again, not iCloud drive.

  • I do not see how to attach a photo to send in mail Windows 8

In fact, became issue when saving a file to the Paint4Kids App that makes my granddaughter and tried my wife by e-mail. Also having trouble finding how to print a message email., but that can wait.

    Hello Geoff,

When you compose a new e-mail message: open bar of the App, and then select the attachment. This will open a file selector that will allow you to navigate to your Photo and attach it to the email.

To print an e-mail message, you can open the bar of some devices. In devices, select the printer you want to use to print your message.

  • I may have all ready sent this problem. I can't attach a file to my e-mail address. Support ATT I said not to change browsers. Help me solve the problem

I have worked with the support of the ATT and grew to the third level support. Can I send attachments with Gmail with your browser, and I can send attachments with my wife with your browser's cell phone. This happened for a month now. ATT support to help me be able to send my ATT email with attachments. They say I need another browser. I don't want change or quit Firefox. Can you help me?

    [email protected]

This download is via a regular navigation button that you see on this forum to add an attachment or is it done otherwise, for example via a plugin like Flash or Java?

Support of ATT has managed to do it with the current version of Firefox?

You can try to create a new profile as a test to see if your profile is the source of the problems.

    See "create a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from the old profile to the new profile, but make sure not to copy corrupted files.

You can also try resetting Firefox:

Also make sure that your security (firewall, antivirus) software is not blocking downloads.

  • Attach a file shared an e-mail on a single pc (not on any network?

I have a pc at home that my wife and I share (Windows 7).  We have implemented with separate user accounts.  Given that I have download most of the photos on my account, I put in place so that it can access the tabs 'network and user '.  Everything works fine except if we try to attach an image to an email that we try and access them through tabs.  We are both invited to enter an id network and password.  Where we find these or configure.  Thank you!

I think that I have not understood you.

I don't understand why you "clicked on the 'Network' icon when the list comes up" rather than lie down the entrance to the computer to access your files at C:\Users\YourUserName\...

It is this step that is indicative of the e-mail application that you are trying to access a file located on a network.

  • How can I change the list of "Attach a file" icons in the alphabetical list in the chonological order?

When I want to attach a file to an e-mail message, it is usually the last file I worked on. Firefox to view items in a list in chronological order, with the most recent element at the top. Now, it displays icons (which I hate!) in alpha order, which is therefore not useful. I think that this change occurred after the last update, I have loaded for Firefox. I'd like suggestions on how to get back to my original format. Thank you!

He finally found. But control is certainly in a dark place and the function 'Help' in Word has been totally useless.
