  Hi, I was wondering what would be the technique recommended for auto values in a specification file when it is created from a different specification.  Here's what we do:

  1. go to the GSM > > Menu item specification

  2. enter a search criteria for the specification of Menu item

  5. click on the icon to change and make the changes

  6. click on the add new button

  If you use 6115, we have the framework of the event that you might try to exploit. System events, such as the creation of a file specification, will trigger the events to which you can subscribe to. So, for example you can subscribe to the event to create a nutritional profile and look at its related specifications (which would be only the technical point menu at that time) and the value of the taxonomy here. You must create a class of Subscriber events that to do this and configure it to the desired event. In fact, the event that you do not want to subscribe to is the event to read the nutritional profile (g/M². Item.5750.read), which occur after the creation, because I think that specifications related (menu item) would not put again on the creation event. In addition, you'll want to do only if the nutrient profile is new (look at the PrimaryDataObject of the (eventArgs (IXDataObjectEventArgs)) and its property isNew).

  Take a look at the extensibility infrastructure Pack 3.11 documentation event (\ReferenceImplementations\EventFrameworkExtensions\Documentation) for more details.

  There is also a class of reference implementation of the Subscriber to the events in there too (look in the folder of the source code).

  If you name the field in the header exactly as the text field, then you just need to set the binding at the global level and no script is needed. You can set the binding in the object palette in the binding tab. Then in the drop-down default choose global binding.

  This happens usually when the script does not have enough permissions to manage this.

  Please make sure that this folder applications, and two libraries have full read and write.

  Also if it happens again, please tell me if you use Bridge for example or directly with Photoshop.

  I am creating a part of my form when the user fills in a value (a number) to a text box field and this value is automatically filled in a read-only text box in a later part of the form. The text read-only should adjust the user to change the original text, but should not be able to adjust itself (where the read-only).

  I have not found a way to make it work (actions? calculate?) and none of the forums I found is at this address. I guess I shouldn't their name just the same because then they will both be adjustable or read-only.

  If someone knows how it can be please let me know! Thank you all in advance!

  Use the Validate the entry field event, something like:

  Copy the value of this field to the next field

  getField("Text2").value = event.value;

  but replace "Text2" with the actual name of the field read-only.

• FrameMaker 11 - question automatically fill leader Info

  Hi all

  We have a problem with the file Info... fields in FrameMaker 11 being automatically filled by the unwanted text, even after we removed it.

  Subject fields and key words contain the text we want to remove all the files in a book.  We open each file and delete the text, save the files, and then close the book.  When we reopen the book, all the files have the unwanted text of back once again in the subject and keywords fields.

  Ideally, we would like to completely remove the text unwanted from the files (a reference to the number of the piece of a piece of equipment).  However, we cannot find where text is stored.  It does not appear in the list of Variables, but must have been manually added by a previous writer because it is a specific company reference number.

  Anyone know where the text is stored?  How to remove the text from the File Info fields without it returning?

  It is a bug.

  The information is stored in two locations in the MIF:

  • End # PDFDocInfo
  • at the end # of DocFileInfo.

  To remove a value, you must remove it from these two places to the MIFID. I suggest that you remove the entire DocFileInfo. Then change the PDFDocInfo so that it contains only the values that you want to keep.

  Please also report this as a bug to https://bugbase.adobe.com/index.cfm .

  I think that while you're editing the document, FrameMaker using only one of these structures (PDFDocInfo/DocFileInfo). But when you save the document, it is then their merger, copies data from the unused structure if the other structure is empty.

• Try to automatically fill in information is written into a section of a form in another

  I created a form in which I need information that is entered or selected (whether a menu drop-down or a radio button selection) in half superior form either filled in a section at the bottom of the form. I don't want the info at the bottom of the editable form - I just want to make it appear as text.

  So far, I was unable to get the info to automatically fill down. I thought by copying the text from the top of the form fields and sticking them to the bottom, keeping the name lie the same thing, it would work, but so far it is not.  And I have no idea how to do to copy the value from the drop-down list or radio button somewhere else on the form.

  I am trying to automatically fill in an 'order of the day"a"graphical task"as pictured below.  When the date of the order of the day is changed, I would like to as tasks and details of my task card to automatically fill in the order of the day.  Any ideas what formula that I use to get this working?  I worked on it for a few days now, but I can't seem to find the right combination of formulas to make it work.

  This can do the trick:

  

  Add a column in the list of tasks as shown above - this column should be the column A now.

  A2 = if (AND (B2 = agenda: $ 1, COUNTA(B2:D2) > 2), MAX $B ($A$ 1: A1) + 1, "")

  It's shorthand dethrone select cell A2, and then type (or copy and paste it here) the formula:

  = IF (AND (B2 = agenda: $ 1, COUNTA(B2:D2) > 2), MAX $B ($A$ 1: A1) + 1, "")

  Select cell A2, copy

  Select cells A2 at the end of the column, paste

  now in the table "Agenda" I suggest merge is NOT the cells in the first row.  My example suppose you follow this advice, and there are two lines:

  -Enter the date in cell B1

  A3 = IF ((LIGNE () −2) ≤MAX(Task Chart::A), LINE (−2), ' ')

  B3 = IF (A3 = "", "", VLOOKUP (ROW (−2, Task Chart::A:D, 3, 0)) ")

  Select cell B3, copy

  Select cell C3, dough

  Select cells A3 to C3, copy

  Select cells A3 at the end of the C column, paste

  now change the text you have in cell B1 of table "Agenda" as needed.
