  Hey guys.

  My trial version of LabVIEW 2014 just ran and I can't build an installer for a .vi which includes the installation of data acquisition equipment so it can be run on any computer. The NOR cDAQ-9174 lets it read a digital signal which would give the speed of a projectile, once he crossed two laser diodes. I think I have all the necessary elements in the project file.   could someone provide a breakdown of the "best practices" publication of many projects that need to open other buttons/clickboxes and continued to quiz result slides through. This is my first published project so when providing pointers you can consider me a novice in computer science from Captivate, thanks in advance!

  Recommended is to NOT try to keep all projects in the same folder.  It is asking for trouble.

  Separate projects each in their own files.

  Instead use the action to open another project, use open URL or file instead and use a relative link to point to the other project HTM file.  Never use an absolute link if you will be moving these files.

  Best practice is to avoid using spaces in file names and always use lowercase file names.  If you need to change it, when you publish your project.  You will break the links if change you it later.

  When you put all that together, if you are testing on your local hard drive, you must also have the location of publication record as a trusted location in your Flash Global security settings.  This post will explain this issue and how to deal with:

  I tried to run this suggested in the corner of code document "how to build a reusable tools with Oracle ADF declarative components toolbar".
  I created the toolbar and deployed.
  I have inserted the pot in my project and create a new page.

  When you create the declarative element, you now define an attribute and call it something like DataSet (of type String).

  In the declarative component, select the button and for its property TEXT put something like ' next #{uploading. '. DataSet}"- without the quotes.

  This will define that button to show following PGE label if you value DataSet Emp when you use the declarative component.

  So, now you repapckage upward and deploy the library of the ADF and now when you use the component, you can set the DataSet attribute (in the property inspector when you select the instance of the declarative component).

  Hey Bing.

  You can perform operations on different channels in the 2D table using the table to index. This will allow you to choose the channel to operate on, then you can perform the operation inside a loop on each element. In the included code snippet, I used a shift register to find the total cumulative values in channel 0 and then divided by the number of samples.

  I recommend you read some tutorials LabVIEW and bases of knowledge on topics that are related to yours. These could help a lot.
