  • How to change the HTTPS Console Weblogic admin port

    Hello

I want to change my HTTPS Console port which was default port 7799 to other ports and also weblogic admin port 7101 to another port.
How we change that. Thank you

    Thank you
    Sachin Bhadauria

you need to change the powers of oversight for the EMGC_GCDomain reflect the new administration server port.
    Go to the target-> Middleware-> EMGC_Domain
Select Configuration of the target-> supervision of the identification information in the drop farm
    Change the Port field
Return to the menu drop-down firm and select Refresh WebLogic Domain-> Add targets to update
The objectives of OHS and Server Admin should now appear in the console. I checked on my test site.

  • How to change the Port pool

If we want to change the port pool after cloning of layers of DB and Apps, what is the best way to do... A single method, I know, i.e run the preclone on the target system and run config clone again once on the same target on both system layer of database and Application layer and change the pool of port...

    is there another method?

How to change the host name of a component of Applications using AutoConfig Doc ID: 341322.1

    (a) to register the application of topology of net service model node
    (b) updated the context file Autoconfig
    (c) shutdown apps services
    (d) to run the automatic configuration service
    (e) change the name of the host at the OS level
    (f) restart the machine.
    (g) to start the application sercies

In step 2, the context of the updated file, we will create the new context with the new hostname file... Here I have doubt, how come new context file will be created with the new host name, since it has not changed hostname at the level of the bone at this stage or before this step? AutoConfig will be CNET, because the Hostname of the Machine is different, because we change the hostname in the last step before

Please clarify my doubt, if my understanding is wrong?

In step 2, you run "perl adclonectx.pl" command. This script is used to clone your context file (i.e. generate a new), and it will ask you to enter the new host name. Once completed, you will have two files of context in the directory $APPL_TOP/admin:

    (1) _ .xml
    (2) _ .xml

When you run the AutoConfig (step 4), you must provide the context new file generated (i.e. _.xml), and the model topology net services (which is clean, because we have already served there) will be filled with the new host name.

why we cannot do the procedure below...

    (a) to enter the net service topology model applications pane
    (b) change the hostname at the os level
    (c) restart the machine.
    (d) update the context file with the new host name or create the new context file
    e run the automatic configuration
    (f) to start the services

Please correct me if I'm wrong...

I have not tried your procedure before, but I think it would work also.

I hope it is clear now.

  • Web application server - how to change the Port

When installing LabVIEW, OR adds a process called "Application Web Server" (among a long list of other items) at startup.  It became an issue for our Windows users want to run our real application of Web server on their local computer.  My temporary work was about just disable the Web Application Server in the trunk to the port (8080) are available for other items.  My questions are the following:

First of all, what kind of impact I look at developing LabVIEW programs?  This process is necessary if I want to work on the network applications?

Second, it is possible to change the port number of the Web app server to avoid any problems that may exist?

The Web Application Server is used by LabVIEW Web Services - only if you are not using/writing/developing LabVIEW Web Services, then it will not affect you.

To change the port, open the Web-based Configuration utility NOR (normally on something like http://localhost:3582 /) and under "Web Server Configuration", you should see "Application Web Server" and you can select which port should be used.

You can also access it Max by right click on "My System" and selecting "Web Configuration.

  • How to change the Port WSX

I should have said that I am under WS 9.0.2 (production) here.  So I do not know where to post

My host is Fedora 19.  When I try to go to the localhost:8888 reports of Firefox "unable to connect".

The output of netstat - ttlnp is:

    TCP 0 0 0.0.0.0:111 0.0.0.0: * LISTEN.
    TCP 0 0 127.0.0.1:8307 0.0.0.0: * LISTEN.
    TCP 0 0 192.168.122.1:53 0.0.0.0: * LISTEN.

    TCP 0 0 127.0.0.1:25 0.0.0.0: * LISTEN.
    TCP 0 0 0.0.0.0:443 0.0.0.0: * LISTEN.
    TCP 0 0 0.0.0.0:17500 0.0.0.0: * LISTEN 2852/dropbox
    TCP 0 0 0.0.0.0:902 0.0.0.0: * LISTEN.
    tcp6       0      0 :::111                  :::*                    LISTEN      -
    tcp6 0 0: 1:8307: * LISTENING.
    tcp6       0      0 :::22                   :::*                    LISTEN      -
    tcp6       0      0 ::1:631                 :::*                    LISTEN      -
    tcp6 0 0: 443

Go to localhost:631 brings up the page of CUPS online.

Maybe if I changed WSX in listening on port 8307 I might have better luck.

    But just run sudo/usr/bin/vmware-install vmware-wsx u

and then reinstall thke bundle does not give the possibility to specify the port - I got the first time I ran the bundle.

In which directory is the spec WSX port number and I can change it?

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

This was solved by uninstalling WSX 1.02 (dereconfiguring I should say) and then installing the beta version 1.1 (allowing NoScript OK access to localhost).  Always the possibility to change change the port was not found, but 8888 worked if the thread is unanswered. .  I would like to move this thread to the WSX forum but it's fairly inactive last I checked.

WSX login screen looks better, but it will take me a while to go through the changelog.

    Hey Buddy,

Could you please try to modify the configuration file under/etc/vmware/wsx?

I update the port 8888 to 8901 and restart the service. Then I can access through http://localhost:8901 wsx.

    I tried on Fedora 18 x 32.

    I hope this can help.

  • How to change the default integrated weblogic listen IP address?

    Hi all
Hopefully a simple question in my embedded weblogic Server jdev comes well: 127.0.0.1:7101
question is - how can I change the IP address to the real IP address of this computer for example 192.168.0.10?
If I replace the one in the browser then it fails and not specifically, netstat displays it listens on the 127.0.0.1:7101 * 7101.
Is it possible to change this in jdeveloper? I found the WL Server integrated into navigation, tried right click
but found no possibility to change... I confirm that/etc/hosts has 192.168.0.10 as the first line.
(I need to do so that I can test servlet sessions via JSESSIONID from a PC and a browser on the different network).
    Thank you very much!

    Colin,

In the Application-> Properties dialog box, select the 'Run' node (and if you use 11.1.2 click on the button "load the extension" if necessary). There will be a button "Application Server Properties". Click on that and then go to the Configuration tab - you can change the address of bind and port there.

    Edit: or more directly:

Discover-> Application Server browser then right click on the server application integrated-> properties and change the configuration it.

  • How to change the port number of ISAKMP?

The default port for ISAKMP number is 500, how can I change?

The platform is Cisco 1841 IOS v12.4

You will not be able to change the only phase 1 (ISAKMP) port UDP/500 to being the default value. What is the reason to change to other ports?

You can encapsulate however phase 2 (IPSEC) ESP package in the protocols UDP or TCP to avoid the problem with the ESP packets through the NAT device.  It is called IPSec NAT transparency. Phase 2 is by default wrapped for UDP/4500 if the ESP packet passes through the NAT device, or you can also wrap it TCP or UDP on other ports.

If you use TCP as the Protocol for the phase 2, then phase 1 will be using the TCP protocol as well on the same port configured.

If encapsulate you with UDP for the phase 2, phase 1 will continue to use UDP/500.

    Hope that makes sense.

  • How to change the database of weblogic IP/Hostname?

Our current development middleware stack contains:

WebLogic, WebCenter, WebTier, and OAM all pointing to the same repository of db oracle via an IP address (because of host name resolution problems.)  Unfortunately the database server's IP has changed and I cannot start the weblogic administration console to change the IP address of the database.

    «"" "Guide to Oracle: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E12839_01/core.1111/e10105/host.htm#CHDBBIAH »»»"

    Excerpt:

Task 5 changing the system Data Source

If you use the IP address in the data source definition, modify the system data source to use the new IP address for the metadata repository. To do this, you use the Oracle WebLogic Server Administration Console:

Extract to start the WebLogic administration Console:

    < 27 August 2013 21:52:03 CEST > < WARNING > < JDBC > < BEA-001129 > < receipt exception creating connection to pool "SDM-CustomPortalDS": IO error: the network adapter could not establish the connection. >

For this particular case, we can simply reinstall the entire stack but would prefer a clean resolution.

There seems to be two issues here. The console is just a request, so I'll assume

what you mean is that the Server WebLogic himself primer not, probably because some

essential service depends on your data source, your data source cannot deploy, and this is the config insists

on an initial capability greater than zero...

Then, go to your config/jdbc directory, subdirectory of the main domain and for each data source

you have, there will be an .xml file. Edit each file that represents a data source for the affected

DBMS and change the URL of a given driver, to have the good, DBMS new machine name/IP address.

Then try to restart WebLogic and see if you're OK...

  • How to change the MOB OpenManage integration for vCenter Server registration

A few months back, I've updated our installation of the vCenter for v2 plugin, now called OpenManage integration for vCenter Server. When you perform the upgrade, we have kept the old base done vs a new installation. During the upgrade process, we deployed the new device under a new name of the computer.

Everything works well except that we noticed an annoying thing. Registration of the plugin is the former name of the server instead of the name of the new server-oriented. It is validated by looking at the web page MOB: http://vcenter Server/fmt drilling then down through:

    Content--> Extension Manager--> extensionList ["com.dell.plugin.OpenManage_Integration_for_VMware_vCenter"] --> server--> URL string

The configuration of the appliamnce shows the correct new name of the device and the administration console is accessible via the new name for the device. The only place where we see the old name of the device is in the MOB config.

We tried to remove the plugin and added, but still cannot change the value of server URL to reflect the new name of the device. Until we solve this problem, I work around the problem by keeping just the DNS entry for the old name of the server in DNS.

Anyone know who to change the property MOB for the URL of the server?

    I solved the problem.

I found the following article that shows how to upgrade the extension. I just cut and paste into my current values with the URL of update and now all is good.

in the short term, what we have done is to configure a proxy server so that requests to/from 7080 <-->80 are served up to possibly to keep IT happy boys that we will use a stunnel or squid.

  • How to change the number of default weblogic Portal port

Hi all, I would like to change the number of port weblogic portal server by default to 80 in order to test.

    (1) can I change like that
    (2) in the affirmative, please let me know how to do this.

I went to the file config.xml and search 7001, not able to find something with this number, able to see 7002. (The SSL port).

Please put some light on this.

    Thank you very much
    Peter.

    Hi Peter
    1. Yes, you can change the default port 7001 to something else.

    2. If you have default Port 7001, it will not appear in the config.xml file. There are NO labels. So yes, when you searched 7001 you find IT. If you change the default port, you will have entered as shown below. If you change the default port, these port tags are shown in the config.xml file.

    3. stop the servers. Make a backup of the config.xml file. Within the tag xml from the server, as shown below, add these 2 labels carefully. Save the config.xml file. Restart the server. NOW, this means that your administration console is running on Port 80.
    80
    true

Example of file config.xml with the default port changed to 80

    AdminServer

    AdminServer
    true
    demoidentity
    {3DES} qxEhrfmANIITdpvPld0Uvk5i/rPNDAmZ

    80
    true
    ...
    ...

NOTE: You can also change of administration Console. Choose your thinking, the servers and the AdminServer. In the main, first tab and then click on lock and change change the default port 7001 to 80. Record. Click Activate. Immedialtey you will get errror Page not found. Because the url is still having 7001. You manually change the port of the url to 80. You will again see console. If I prefer, stop the server. Edit the config.xml file. Restart the server.
