  Hi all
  I understand that deduplication securefile is for the same column. Suppose if I have 2 identical data in a column, say one, with the size of 4000 bytes, the deduplication makes stores only 4000 bytes instead of 8 000 bytes table. From sqlplus, how can I check if this particular column takes only space to 4000 bytes instead of 8000?

  You can't exactly check without looking at the discharge of the LOB segment. It is easier to just check LOG segment does not increase when you insert the same LOB values:

• How to check if the indexer works?

  The problem I have is that it generates a lot of disk activity.  If I do works that are heavy on the use of the disc, it becomes almost impossible to work.

  Is it possible to control when the indexer runs in the background?  I can work in two ways.

  1. If a process of a given name is in CPU, run no indexer

  2 in some window of time, don't throw an indexer (indexer or limited only to run in a window of time)

  Thank you for your response.

  You can always return to your default configuration by disabling the additional folder that you added to the indexed location (-> Panel-> option change indexing) and rebuild the index (Control Panel-> option-> Advanced Indexing - > rebuild). Indexing of the entire system can lead to search huge index of data which may result from eating up your hard drive space and slow down your system.

  I suggest you to generate system health report to check if the system is working properly. To run the system health report, follow the steps below.

  1. click on start

  2. go in Control Panel

  3 go to the Tools and performance information

  4 search for Advanced Tools in the left panel of the window.

  5 go to generate a system health report

  Lexbces.exe is from Lexmark (or Dell-badged Lexmark) printer install.  When the Lexmark printers are installed, they configure the print spooler to depend on Lexbces.  Unfortunately, when you uninstall the software Lexmark, the uninstall program removes the file but does not have the print spooler dependency.

  Open a command prompt window (start > run > cmd > OK)
  Type the following line in the black command prompt window and press enter

  dependent on the spooler of sc config = RPCSS

  Note that there is no space before the = but there is a space after it.

  Restart the computer.

  After the restart, you can check that the print spooler has started in several ways.  One way is:

  Open a command prompt window and type the following command, and then press ENTER:

  I was always able to make great copies.  The quality of the document that I copy is excellent and I've copied before.  Now everything I copy is very low and cannot be read.  The printer works without any problem.

  I see that you have a problem of quality of the copy with your Officejet Pro 8500 (A910) a model-all-in-one.  Have you tried to reset the printer hard and ensured that the device is connected to a wall outlet directly?

  • Unplug the printer while on
  • Unplug the other end of the power cord from the wall jack directly
  • Wait 30 to 60 seconds
  • Plug the unit back to

  Also, take a look at the steps in the document found here.  The document is not directly applicable in the present case, but the steps are the same for your question.

  Let me know how it goes.  If this does not solve your problem, then I have the steps to perform a factory reset on this product to see if an internal reset will be able to get the device to work as expected.

  I had to remove the drivers and the software once.  I have re-installed, but now the printer works fine and when I try to run a scan of the computer or the printer they don't know each other and I can't scan.

  It fixed...  I had asked a computer specialist to look at and he cheated by creating IP port and tell the PC to print via the port.  Although the sweep of the network was suspended on that port.  Installed the printer via a USB cable and then removed from the printer and reomved first which stood on the IP port.  Once it is I installed the printer again and scan network found the printer immediately and went big.
