How to check the version of applications?
Hello everyone, I am building an app to help find the update of applications.
So in my application I want to check forinstalled app on the device, as well as versions out there.
My question is if I can write java code that checks the another version of applications?
If yes how can I do it, and if you can provide me with a code example.

How to check the version of windows and the number of bits?
Dear Sir
As I could not download and watch a video show, I was told to check the version of windows and the number of bits. I remembered the upgrade to version 10 of Windows when you are prompted before. However, when I clicked on 'This PC' to check the C:\ drive, it shows Windows8_OS (C :). It is quite misleading. Can I know how to check & confirm the correct version of Windows and where to find the number of bits as well?

Looks like you're on windows 10, but after the upgrade is not changed the label of the hard drive.
Type winver in the run box-press windows key + R box simultaneously.
If the Windows 10 Build 10XXX State, you're on windows 10.
Simply right click C: / and select Rename and rename the drive in Windows10OS or what you want.

In AppsTier, change to the directory of "$IAS_ORACLE_HOME/config ' and check the contents of the file"ias.properties ". You will see a line starting with 'Version', see below, which will give you the exact version of the iAS.
Version = 10.1.3.0.0

but on this same page it says software required: NI-VISA 3.0
now the computer with LabVIEW has no internet connection, I can't do an automatic update on it or something... so, I wonder how I can check what version of the VISA is installed on this computer?

Open MAX (Measurement & Automation Explorer), expand the list of 'software', find NI-VISA.
Note that "software" means the minimum version , as it is clearly stated. If you have something higher to 3.0, you must be very well.

What browser uses tide to load URL files? How to check the version of the browser
We intend to migrate to sharepoint list files. When I insert the sharepoint url in the folders tab, it loads perfectly. When I click on the hyperlink on the page, I'm running script pop - pup - "an error has occurred in the script on this page" - class not registered (loaded scriptFiles undefined-microsoft Jscript runtime error).
This clickable link on the page works perfectly in IE or chrome. I want to know what browser and using the version of tide. How do I check this? If I had to change the browser settings where can I do. Or if someone has encountered a similar problem, please suggest the fix.

We also used Citrix for our 5.3.1 version and it works for us (web sites and internal sharepoint 2010 & 2008 version)
A couple of things to try
- customer install locally try again
- Permissions on wiki sharpoint Site Actions... Site permissions. The permissions of site url must end with /_layouts/user.aspx or ask your administrator SharePoint to read to users or to groups of ads that should consult the pages on the wiki (which is what we did)
I can't speak for 5.2.2 and probably that is not supported by Cisco
