How to compact. JPG images

With Thunderbird on Windows, I got an option where I could compact the size of the image data attached until I sent them. Now that I've moved to a Mac, I would have the same option. What should I do to add this feature to my Thunderbird on Mac? (Running OS 10.9 Mavericks)
Thanks for your help,
Bernard

    1. put the image files you want in the slide show in an album and genre as you want. Follow the Apple document to prepare images for iDVD: iDVD ' 09 (7.x): preparing images for iDVD slideshows

2 - Launch iDVD and select an older theme, not animated.  You can change the background of the theme by dragging the image file of your choice, black or other, in the display pane for the menu.

3 - Click on the button '+' and add a slideshow from the menu.

    4. double click on the sideshow button to enter the mode of construction of the slide show.

    5. in the media pane click the Photos button.

6 - click on iPhoto and find the album you created with selected images.

    7. Select all images in the album and drag to the left in the slide show window.

8 - Select the transition for the slideshow and the time for each slide on screen

9 - follow this workflow to help ensure the best DVD video qualty:

Once the project you want it save it as an image disk via the menu file → save as Disk Image . It will separate from the process of encoding of the burning process.

To check coding mount the disk image, launch a DVD player and read it.  If it plays OK with DVD, encoding is good.

Burn burn to disc with utility disk or toasts to the slowest speed (2 x - 4 x) in order to ensure the best quality.  Always use higher quality media: Verbatim, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are recommended in these forums.

  • How can I get a tab opens in a jpg image oversized in its original with scrollbars size when I click a link?

I have a small program to store my names of genealogy and the jpg images of the Census pages where each name is found. The images have a thumbnail link which opens in a new tab to display the page real oversized census. In the new tab page of the census is small and not readable. How can I get the jpg image to appear in its original with schroll bars size so I can read the census in the firefox browser without using the zoom feature. It takes several clicks on the zoom to get the picture to a readable size and it's a lot of time, especially when I have several open images.

Enter Subject: config as an address in the address bar, and look for a setting named browser.enable_automatic_image_resizing (you can type part of it in the filter to reduce the number of displayed items).

Set this false preference and now oversized images now appears in the original default format. Clicking always resize the image to fit the window.

When I have a message in Outlook Express, which is a .jpg image I see about 1/5 of the image without scrollling it up and down and from left to right. It is a problem that arose after some other problems with my computer. How can I change this?

    =====================================
Outlook Express is not automatically adjust pictures to adapt to the
the fact of the screen as Windows Picture and Fax Viewer.

If you receive photos that are more than 640 x 480
scrolling will be probably needed. On this day of
very high-resolution pictures... unless the senders
resize photos before sending them, they will be huge.

In Outlook Express... If you go to... Tools / Options /.
Read... tab and check the box... «read all messages»
clear"... you will not see the photos in the
body of the message, but as an attachment.

Then you can left click the paperclip and the click left one
file name photo and Windows Picture and Fax Viewer
    will launch for photo viewing.

Best bet would be IMHO to save photos in a folder
disk your hard drive and view them from there. Personally
I prefer the original versions to receive total sizes of the
the photos because they are best for printing and editing.

  • How to click on a .jpg image in Blackberry 4.5?

    Hi all

I m a .jpg in a BitmapField image display & adding in a VerticalFieldManager. It is is displayed, but I can't click on it.

    I m doing as...

    Bitmap bitmap = Bitmap.getBitmapResource("image.jpg");

    BitmapField bitmapField = new BitmapField(bitmap , BitmapField.FOCUSABLE)                {            protected boolean navigationClick(int status, int time )            {                //handle click event                                return true;            }        };VerticalFieldManager vfm = new VerticalFieldManager();vfm.add(bitmapField);add(vfm_stamp);

But if I takea .png image as

    Bitmap bitmap = Bitmap.getBitmapResource("image.png");

It is clickable. Why so much?

BlackBerry 4.5 supports .jpg image format. It displays a .jpg image then why its not clickable? I want to make it clickable.

    How to do?

I was not geeting given focus if the JPG is not transparent or does not have a transparent border.

So I added a margin around the bitmap using the setSpace(int, int) method.

    Its market not now...

    Thank you...

  • How to use UTL_FILE to print a JPG image in a CLOB

I'm using Oracle 11.g.  I have an Oracle Apex application that generates automated emails. In the Apex, the user inserts a JPG image in a rich text field. This image is stored in a CLOB field. When it's time to send emails, Apex calls a stored procedure that reads the JPG image and stores it in a local variable called l_image_clob. The procedure of sending the embedded image with the rest of the body by e-mail to a list of users. (Note: this an embedded image and it is not an attachment). It all works very well.

Now, I try to save the JPG image content stored in the l_image_clob variable in a JPG file on the server. The server is located on a Windows 7 platform.  The following code generates a file named correctly and the size of the file is correct, but it is not readable by the system. I get the error "is not a valid bitmap file" when I try to open it with Microsoft Paint. • How to create a camera profile that works with a JPG image with my color chart to check inside? [was: color Checker chart.] Really need help]

I got a color chart to check. It came not with any software whatsoever. I shoot my images in JPG format. I know it's not really ideal but I'm on a tight budget and don't have the money for a digital SLR cameras that shoot raw. Is there anyway that I can always create a camera profile that works with a JPG image with my color chart to check inside? My table also includes RGB values below each color. Maybe I can match each color in the photo these values manually? If so how is this done?

    Thank you

    Bryce

I've never seen software that does what you ask for JPGs, only RAWs.  The main problem is that any profile or adjustment is calculated according a JPG of a particular chart photo would apply to the other JPG photos with the same white balance.

Jpg does not use "camera profiles" anyway in Lightroom, the profile is always integrated.

There is a product that allows to calculate the HSL cursor offset values given a JPG photo their own table owner who looked like a color checker, but had two lines reversed so the software could not be used with a standard-checker color, unfortunately.  Now their table has twice as many patches (48), and looking at it on their site I'm not too sure that it does not always work with JPGs or if she's just raw files, now.

The graphic and software are called SpyderCheckr of Datacolor.  There are various software that do different things, but none are using a ColorChecker, so having one is mainly a loss until you get a camera that can take raw photos, so keep a humidity and temperature controlled environment as much as possible until you have the right camera.  You can probably use the grey patches to adjust exposure, but that's all.

Today you need not a digital SLR to have raw photos, well.  My phone Galaxy S6 with the last update of Marshmallow and the software of camera update will take photos in format raw DNG in Pro mode which I can create custom profiles camera to use a ColorChecker, although the camera is really good in itself, so when I found everything first he could make DNG I took a little but now, I usually just use the camera to make the jpg unless the shot is really important and the lighting is not too hard.  I think that S7 phone's camera is even better.

What kind of camera do you have?  Sometimes, there are firmware hacks that allow the camera to shoot raw format even if the standard camera cannot.

  • How can I prevent imported jpg images going soft first elements 11?

I have several graphics in the form of jpg images that have strong air in my editor (Corel PhotoPaint), as well as the Windows Viewer. But when I import premiere elements 11, they get pretty sweet. Any suggestions on how to avoid this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks to you and John Smith. The size was the issue. For reasons too esoteric to go in, the jpg files were much larger that they should be. I have their re-sampled in Corel PhotoPaint and decreased the size (but not the CIO) of 75%. Who did. Interestingly, before I made the change, I have noted that none of the giant files would play in the clip viewer... they just came up as a draft. It is another indication of the problem, and it disappeared once I have shrank the files.

  • How can I animate image .jpg?

    Hello

How can I animate images that I modify in GIMP?

I mean, I have 1 video sequence showing a tree. and then I have 1 .jpg image of a plane

How can I make the aircraft from jpg image to appear in the video showing the tree? I want to make this plane crash into the tree and explode.

I see a lot of similar stuff on youtube (such as "cyriak animation mix"), but I don't know what we call this technique. animation of still images? Search Google gave me a lot of questionable results, none of them came right to the point.

as far as I know, this is a manipulation of keyframes, but I need to know more keywords for further research this technique. or better yet - find a decent article explaining the basics.

    If anyone can help?

First of all, you probably want to touch the background around the plane. Focus on the Key Chorma, or one of the other effects of chroma pre, depending on how the plane was shot, or created. If you created it, you can probably cover any background and Save_As a format that supports transparency, like with a mask Alpha channel.

Then, with the plane on a video track higher than your tree, use the fixed effect > Motion > position keyframe to the Position of the aircraft, its movement on the frame. • After update, I can no longer save to Acrobat forms as JPG images. How can I fix it?

My computer crashed a week ago. I used to use acrobat to fill out the forms for the job. My clients love these forms locked and sent to them. The way simpler and more effective, that I found to do this was to save the forms as JPG images which can be viewed and are much smaller than PDFs files, make emailing easier and faster. After completing the computer backup and running, the option to save a JPG image file directly in acrobat has completely disappeared. Everyone that I talked to told me that I need to download a separate program to convert now. Is there a way that I can return to savings as a JPG?

    Hi brockb,

What version of Acrobat are you using? XI of Acrobat, you can save in JPEG format by choosing File > save as others and in Acrobat DC, by choosing File > export to > Image.

  • How to open a .jpg image and modify it.

I can't seem to find a way to open a .jpg image or any image in Flash Professional CC. I'm quite new to this, so sorry if this sounds like a stupid question. When I go to file > open, I see only .as, .fla, .jsfl, .xsfl, and .xml files. I don't have an option to be able to display .jpg or .png images. I would appericate if someone could take the time and answer this question for me

    Thank you

If you want to change a jpeg or png image, do it with a separate program like Fireworks or Photoshop.  After you import the image into Flash, you can edit the picture again in these separate applications and update the image that you have imported into Flash via the properties option in the menu of the image library and clicking the button to update.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions

    Hello

I don't think we can save images in formats RTF...

What you can do is insert an object (file select Jpg) and fix it with the RTF (Wordpad) documents. Correct me if I'm wrong...

    * I tried to open the RTF (Wordpad files) daughter in MS Word and insert an image, it will save, but not from Wordpad.

    I hope this helps.

I have a .jpg of an object on a background image. This image has a clipping path that écrêtera the background of the image. But you can export the path separately in Illustrator, then he get married to the JPEG placed as a clipping mask.

In traces of Photoshop Panel, target the path, and then choose file > export > traces to Illustrator...

He'll write a .ai file. Open and select all (it's a quick and easy way to 'see' the path because Photoshop it will export with no border or background, leaving mostly 'invisible' on the artboard Illustrator).

Then you can copy it to the collage at the top of your JPEG placed. Position them as you like, select this option and the JPEG format, then choose object > clipping mask > make...
