  If you have a desktop PC, you can disconnect the power cable, open the case and remove the battery (Silver thing small round-shaped piece). then try to restart the computer, you can disable it in the first black screen with white text, it will probably give an error of the BIOS in any case. Then disconnect the power supply again and replace the battery. You need to reset the BIOS, but it should work.

  I do not know the password but it would disable instead so I don't have to enter it every time I turn it on.

  You can remove the need for a password as follows.

  Shut down the laptop.  Now on TAP the ESC key as soon as you press the power button to access the start menu, then select f10 to open the Bios menu.  Use the arrows to select the Security tab and press ENTER.  Use the arrow keys again to select the password option and press ENTER.  Enter the current password and then the new password, simply leave this blank and press on enter - do the same for the confirmation field.  Press f10, select this option to save the new settings and press to enter.

  You can do a reset of the printer using the LED screen on the printer.

  Select Configuration, then Tools, then restore the default settings. "Restore default settings" is the last element of the list and you will have to scroll down to see it.

  Which erases all settings, including the password for the printer.

  Unfortunately, the password is in the programming of your printer. Therefore, in order to reset the password for you to use all the features of your machine once again, we have to run a programming semi full reset. This reset will cause your printer to 'think' it starts for the first time again.

I tried to reset the password by executing the apxchpwd.sql as sys in SQLPLUS but modified past is not being recognized when I try to connect to apex_admin as the admin user.   Do you have updated recently to an earlier version of the APEX by any chance? Are you sure that you run the script apxchpwd.sql APEX 4.2 and not an older version?

  It may seem like a stupid question, but I have seen this problem when you try to change the admin apex password using a script from an earlier version.

  Why you n t know the admin password? Normally all passwords will be defined by the user, or in other words, I suppose that you have set all passwords.

  Unfortunately if you n t know the password more you have to reinstall the entire operating system. So take the Toshiba Recovery disk or the Microsoft disk to reinstall Windows.

  You are prompted for an administrator password after trying to implement the parent controls.  My move to the standard administrator account. Now have two standard accounts and cannot repair.   It's because, apparently, there is no administrator account.
  If and only if, there is account admin on your system Windows will allow the built in (if not already enabled) administrator account if you start Sate mode.  Use the main administrator account to activate admin at least a user account.  Restore your admin account or create a new admin account.   You must keep at least one active admin account to manage your computer.  A supplement is even better.
