How to control a built-in video player of CS5?

Hello!

So, there's this video player that opens, when I import an flv video in my fla (Flash CS5) project. It can be customized with different buttons, but I would like that it has a button which redirects me to a web page that opens in a new tab in the browser.

The problem is, I want the video to stop when the button is clicked and the new tab opens. but I can only add this button outside the flv player, so if I call an actionscript stop(); It affects her, she continued to play.

How to stop it?

If you use the FLVPlayback component, you must assign an instance name and then use that name to target for him to stop.

You assign an instance name to it by selecting on the stage and by entering its name in the properties panel where it says .  Then in the button event handler code use you that name to indicate to the player to stop... If you call it flvPlayer, you would use: flyPlayer.stop ();

  • How to enlarge the video player?

    man, those things are weird - had to watch anywhere in the page just to know how to write something.  Can someone please tell me how to enlarget the video player?  Some I've seen have a button "full screen", I'm looking at one of these tutorials and cant hardly see the thing.  Also, how to save only few, without restarting it?  I use Windows IE 8, 32-bit, flash player is 10,1,53,64.  Thanks for your help.

    Oh and side thought:

    You can press F - 11 to enter and exit the full screen display content broswer.

    Then right-click on the toolbar and click Auto-hide / hide toolbars.

    It helps a lot and emule and almost full screen watching these videos...

    I do not use the keys mode full screen, sometimes I answer to messenger

    and I don't want to have to click these buttons to get the real full screen, then I'm smart.

    Oh and if the video player is not a rewind button, you are unable to get back to the top.

    Unless download you it, then read it in another drive.

    Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily disables hardware acceleration, restores some settings and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).

    • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > restart with disabled modules

    I had problems in the past with my video player crashing using Adobe Flash player, including videos of Yahoo.com and my Real Player and now he disappeared totally dead. I tried to uninstall and reinstall Flash Player without problem, however when playing either video sites, Yahoo said "you must install Adobe Flash Player and Real Player said it must download component Add ' l to allow the video play, (of course once you do it does not help a bit)! The only thing I've done is to try to install Service Pack 2 on my system, but Needless to say, I'm having a devil of a time to perform this task no matter which reinstalls, backing up files, or what ever codec, or something that was recommended to me, so if anyone knows how to operate, or if it is even required to keep my system any information is greatly appreciated!     Adobe flash player cannot have been uninstalled completely. I recommend you use the adobe removal tool to remove adobe flash player then download the latest version on your computer and check if the problem persists.

    Put your computer in a clean boot and disable security software before installing flash player on your computer.

    How to find where my Adobe flash player settings or information? It is not on my list of uninstaller, so I can fully uninstall and reinstall.  When I type in search that nothing useful comes. The research does not check the hard drives or preinstalled stuff, it only verifies that you have installed. I have some videos on my computer and its telling me I need to install Adobe flash, but when I go to Adobe all I get is a blank screen to install flash player. I went on the internet and found one that I could install, but after he piddled around for 5 minutes, he stated that a newer version is already installed on my computer. What should I do or how I check it out?

    To access the Flash Player settings open Control Panel, change the display in small or large icons and you will see the Adobe Flash Player. You can view and change the settings there.
