Real Video Player/Adobe Flash Player

I had problems in the past with my video player crashing using Adobe Flash player, including videos of Yahoo.com and my Real Player and now he disappeared totally dead. I tried to uninstall and reinstall Flash Player without problem, however when playing either video sites, Yahoo said "you must install Adobe Flash Player and Real Player said it must download component Add ' l to allow the video play, (of course once you do it does not help a bit)! The only thing I've done is to try to install Service Pack 2 on my system, but Needless to say, I'm having a devil of a time to perform this task no matter which reinstalls, backing up files, or what ever codec, or something that was recommended to me, so if anyone knows how to operate, or if it is even required to keep my system any information is greatly appreciated! OBE a Canope, U R my only HOPE?  Thank you in advance! Lorenzo

Hi Lorenzo,.

A. you use internet explore browser?

B. recent changes made on your computer?

Adobe flash player cannot have been uninstalled completely. I recommend you use the adobe removal tool to remove adobe flash player then download the latest version on your computer and check if the problem persists.

Put your computer in a clean boot and disable security software before installing flash player on your computer.

If Windows object to save the changes because of permissions, try this way:

    (1) in a window of my computer or Windows Explorer, open this folder:

    C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash

If this folder does not exist, then you are using 32-bit Windows, and you can open the following folder instead:

    C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash

(Note: this folder exists on Windows 32-bit and 64-bit, but on 64-bit Windows Firefox use the Flash player in the place SysWOW64 folder.)

    (2) check a file named mms.cfg:

    (A) If mms.cfg exists, drag it in your Documents folder , where you can change it without being bothered on administrator privileges

    (B) If there is no such thing as mms.cfg open your Documents folder, right click > new > text file and the name of the new file mms.cfg

    (3) mms.cfg Documents opened in a text editor such as Notepad. Add this on its own line (I have the latter):

    ProtectedMode=0

Save the file and close Notepad.

    (4) press and hold the Ctrl and the mms.cfg file reglisser to the Flash folder to make a copy, keep the original documents

This change should take effect the next time you restart Firefox (allow a few minutes for all the Flash of the processes in memory to terminate right out of Firefox).

  • Adobe Flash Player does not work in Win 10

I installed Windows 10 at the end of July and immediately noticed that I couldn't see all the videos and Adobe Flash Player does not seem to work, but the noise was present.  The video screen was a series of green lines and nothing visible.  I tried 10 IE and Mozilla Firefox, and neither wouldn't work.  I couldn't get any help from Microsoft, and on the community positions, is not any problem similar to mine.  Finally back to Win 7 Professional (easy to do) and no problems at all with the videos.  Ongoing MS do pop - ups ' "remind me to install Win 10, but until I think they corrected this problem, or at least acknowledged, I'll stick with Win 7.

In previous versions of windows, the adobe 'hardware acceleration' caused green screens often, try to change that if you can Flash W10.

See - https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1927939?start=0&tstart=0 and follow up on the link for details and other things to test. Don't know which applies directly to W10 however, but it can at least give a few pointers.

  • Video imported into adobe Flash CC 2015 do not play

I am trying to create an animation on a video in Adobe Flash CC 2015.

To do this, I first loaded a video in the scene (video output with component of reading)

    First problem:

-Video playback component is not active, that is, I can not play my video, all I have is a still image.

    Second problem:

-J' have also created a new layer to animate on my video. I did a form and converted into a symbol. When I create a motion tween, the scene becomes white, and I can't see my video.

    Can someone help me?

    Thank you!

Is your goal to have the video and animation over the video in a single SWF file? Or you want to create a video that has your animation on top of it?

If you want to embed the video in a SWF file you would import the FLV file in the timeline (without using a component of FLCPlayback), then the timeline is as long as the video and you can add animations in other layers.

If you want to make an animation that goes on top of a video, a better option now is to incorporate an H.264 video file on the timeline. Then you can animate it, scrub the timeline, everything to be perfect, and export a video file that is just your animation. Then use a video editing program, such as After Effects or Premiere, layer your animation on the original video.

If you have a FLV playing from an external file, use a swf for animation and load the FLV file, you can't really preview it in the way that you are wanting to do.

  • Real Player & Adobe Flash Player

When I try to view the video on Superpass, he says I have to have Adobe Flash Player version 11.2 or greater. I confirmed that I had, but it still doesn't work. Hello
    1. is the issue limited to RealPlayer Superpass?
2 are you faced with the question to read the videos online? If so what web browser you are streaming videos?

It would be possible that the flash drive is not completely or correctly installed.

  • Adobe Flash Player update. Why I don't see tube you videos with Firefox?

I had this problem for a week now. I can hear the videos but not see images. I went into plugins and update of Adobe Flash Player, but it did not help. Restarted, etc. To return to the form on the page that it is said still Adobe reader must be updated on my windows xp, Adobe said it is up to date. Perhaps this is related to why I can't watch the videos?

From Firefox 40, YouTube uses many Windows XP users another drive, the HTML5 player. In order to confirm what player is used on the page, you can right click on the video and check the last line of the quick menu (context menu) that appears. (If the menu of Firefox crashes, press and release the Alt key to display the menu of the player.)

Assuming you get the menu black having HTML5 in the last line, that's your problem. So... what to do about it. Here are two possible solutions:

    (1) use an add-on to force YouTube to serve you the Flash Player

There are at least two extensions to do this, you only need:

    (2) use an add-on to tell YouTube that you're still under Firefox 39

    (A) install the https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/ua-site-switch/ extension which certainly has a confusing interface.

    (B) select and copy the old identification of user agent for Firefox 39:

    Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:39.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/39.0

    (C) while on a youtube.com page, click on the small triangle of drop down menu to au-site-switch and paste the old and then user agent string press ENTER to save it

    (D) may reload YouTube without going through files cached (Ctrl + Shift + r)

E repeat B & C on https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/ to apply the hack for embedded videos

  • Since firefox has blocked Adobe flash player how can I veiw videos online?

My computer and the operating system are archaic - xp - and a very old computer, but flash player ran in the past. Firefox blocks any attempt to update adobe flash player citing vulnerability. And yet, they don't give NO option to watch videos on your tube or any other site. What can I do? I click on the box always allow, but Flash Player is still blocked.

On Windows XP, you can consider using the Extended Support Release - Flash Player 13.0.0.305. New versions of Flash offer features that Windows XP cannot use - features only available in Vista and more recent operating system of Windows.

Scroll down about 3/4 of the way to the bottom of this page.
    https://www.Adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html

Enter the windows > browsers Plugin-> EXE installer version.

But before you install it, you must first run the uninstall program Adobe Flash to get a clean install of Flash.

  • Update adobe flash player for 17 NPAPI, shows on the adobe site that is installed on the operating system xp, I have windows 7, no sounds or video won't play when using FF

I've updated the flash 17NPAPI drive 3/20 and now no audio or video will play. Went through all the help the Odobe website which shows the installation but also shows my OS XP, but I have windows 7. The previous version was still appearing in my programs as active 16 X adobe flash player so I deleted a new and thought that the old one would work so well. But still no audio or videos don't play.

My windows media player works fine, it's just when I get online with firefox that I'm having this problem...

Thanks in advance for any help

The ActiveX version is for Internet Explorer.

Your useragent is displayed as Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1;) WOW64; RV:36.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/36.0 as the NT 5.1 is Windows XP.

Maybe you run Firefox 36 is the Windows XP compatibility mode.

  • Since the upgrade, 20 of Firefox and Adobe flash player 11 devour all my CPU during video streaming playback

    Win7 64 bit
    Firefox20
    Adobe Flash Player 11 plugin

When streaming, information on the Task Manager:

    Flashplayerplugin__11__7__700__169.exe * 32 - use 50% CPU or more

    plugin - container.exe * 32 - consumes 40% of CPU or more

Using 100% CPU translates the choppy video. I don't think that this heavy use of the CPU was not the case until I upgraded from Firefox13 and Adobe Flash Player 11. I tried without decommissioning, but this does not seem to make a difference.

    Thanks for any help.

  • After you have installed Mozilla Firefox with Adobe Flash Player 11.6 20.0, videos YouTube do not load correctly.

Videos YouTube has of worked before installing Adobe Flash Player. Once installed the screen flickers, after a second, rewind at the start, then plays normally. This only happens when I use Internet Explorer. I reinstalled Mozilla Firefox and Adobe Flash Player several times but nothing seems to work. Decommissioning of Adobe Flash Player does not work either. It seems that Firefox is the problem, but I'm not completely sure.

You can check for problems with the latest version of the Flash plugin and try these:

    • disable an eventual extension of the browser for Firefox Plugin RealPlayer Record and if installed RealPlayer update
    • disable the safe_mode in Flash 11.3 and later versions
    • turn off hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
  • Adobe Flash Player 11.4 leaves work, shows no video even after reinstalling.

Adobe Flash Player 11.3 r300, and she had stopped showing videos, etc. in Firefox a few days ago. Now, I installed v 11.4 r402 and it still gives the message error "Adobe Flash Player... has stopped working." I uninstalled, downloaded again and reinstalled - with the same result. No video. Firefox Plugin check page shows it installed correctly. All solutions?

11.3, one of the solutions was to disable protected mode. See this article from Adobe support under the heading of 'Last resort': Adobe Forums: how to fix protected Flash Player for Firefox mode? It still seems to be applicable in Flash 11.4.

You might also consider back to Flash 10.3. However, some content may require new features of Flash 11.x. This article has the steps: Adobe Flash plugin has crashed - avoid that it happen.
