  • How can I have the file name as visible caption on the photo

    I have several hundred digital images that I have edited and saved with a meaningful file name.  I would like to produce a slide show and then burn to DVD with the name of the file as a legend, preferably (but not necessarily) without the file name extension (for example, my photo.jpg would show as 'my picture').

    I (Pinnacle Studio) software that will import photos or DVD, and I'll create my slide show with Studio, since I am familiar with this software, but the Studio does not automatically create captions.  Re-type the captions for each slide will be intensive work and maybe isn't necessary.  I have a couple of programs that will produce a legend using the file name, but they are old and do not have an option to burn a DVD - only to run the slide show from the software owner.  I also Ulead FT 6 and Adobe PS Elements 6.  I am running Vista and have another computer with XP, so I have the photo editing software that comes with those.  I haven't found something that will prepare a folder of photos by file name as legend I can burn on a DVD.

    searching on the Internet I found a few programs for sale that seem to have the ability to do what I want, but I have hundreds of programs, and I don't want to buy another for only this seemingly simple task.  There are shareware/freeware/trialware which will allow me to display the file name as captions for photos and then burn a DVD or create a file that I can burn it with Nero for import into Studio 12 or 14 Studio?

  • How to change a file name in the Photos? (no title)

    I know how to change the title of a photo in the Photos.  But I do not see how you change a file name.  Can anyone help?

    Photos will not change an imported file.  The original master image file is preserved. You can't even change the file name.

    To change the name of the file, export the Photos photo: file > export, and then specify a different file name in the export Panel.

    Re-import the renamed picture, then delete the first version you imported.

  • 5.6.1 pages how to insert a file name

    In previous versions of Pages I could insert the file name or the full path of a document in the foot. I create multiple documents for our society. This has been invaluable when changes had to be made to a document or form. I can't find this option in Pages 5.6.1. Where at - it go? How can I insert a file name?

    Pages v5 (all versions) has been a complete rewrite - no no from the Pages ' 09. Insert menu: file name was never added to the application. There is no provision in the application of v5 Pages to insert the entire path either.

    If you click on the document name in the title bar, a Panel opens with the file name have been screened, and paste that in your footer. He was never a capacity in Pages ' 09 to insert a path of the document.

    The following AppleScript will display a POSIX path for the currently open document in Pages. It will support installation of Pages three different scenarios:

    1. V5 installed only with the open document pages
    2. Pages ' 09 installed only with the open document
    3. V5 pages and Pages ' 09 installed and running with open document

    Launch the Script Editor (Launchpad: others: Script Editor). Copy and paste the AppleScript in Script Editor. All text will be purple (normal). Click on the hammer icon to compile. Now the text is mixed of colors (good). Two successive stops:

    1. File menu: Save... File name: Pages_path. When you select the text in the File Format: selector, applescript is added file name. No other check boxes, and then save in your Documents folder. It is the only source.
    2. File menu: Option key: Save under... Pages_path. Since the File Format: selector, select Application. A .app extension will be added file name. Click on the box to hide the Extension. Save to your desktop. This is the clickable application.
    3. When you want the complete path of the open document, you click on the Pages_path icon on your desktop and a dialog box is displayed. Select, copy and paste this path into your Pages document.

    -Pages_path - display the full path of the current document

    -path can be copied and pasted into the dialog box in the document

    -Manages three scenarios

    (1) pages v5 only

    (--2) pages ' 09 only

    (--3) pages ' 09 and v5 both installed, but a race

    game of p9 to ((path to the applications folder) as text) & ' iWork ' 09: "&" Pages.app: "

    if (version of application 'Pages') is superior to "4.3" then

    -All Pages v5 release open with document

    say application 'Pages' to the value document_path to POSIX path of ((front file) document in the text)

    else if there are (p9) then

    -Pages ' 09 open with the document

    say my front document to set document_path to path it request p9

    on the other

    -OS X App Store Pages ' 09 only installed

    say application 'Pages' to the value document_path in front of path

    end if

    display the dialog box "Path of current document" & return & document_path as text

    return

  • How to create a file name variable with the County and the date?

    Objective: Create a file name variable with the County and the date

    Error: get a lot of error. Do you know how to change my code?

    Question: how to create a file name variable with the County and the date?

    Mini code:

    std::string * rawfilepath;
    std::string * rawfilename;

    rawfilepath = "./shared/documents/";
    RawFileName = rawfilepath + 'rawlog -' + 0 + '-.txt ';
    QFile file (rawfilename);
    If (file.exists ()) {}
    rawfilenamecount ++;
    RawFileName = "./shared/documents/rawlog-" + rawfilenamecount + "-.txt ';
    }

    Thank you for your attention,

    Thank tzander reminding me the idea. Method of cascades is not good for me because all of the kernel code is written by Native. If I change the channel to QString, I need to change a lot of codes.

    Solution is below.

    While (access (rawfilename, F_OK)! = - 1) {}
    rawfilenamecount ++;
    sprintf (format, RawFileName, rawfilenamecount);
    fprintf (stderr, "file exists");
    }

    Rawlog = fopen (rawfilename, "w"); Save the file in a specific path.
    fprintf (rawlog, "System Time (ms)" "");

  • How to convert raw files from my D300 Nikion for AdobeRGB sRGB?

    How to convert raw files sRGB to my Nikon D300 AdobeRGB files for use in Lightroom and Photoshop?

    I got caught for years in sRGB because I read that it is better for sharing on the web if any alteration in Photoshop may be made.  Now I have the time to focus on learning Photoshop and Lightroom.  Should I opt for color my default AdobeRGB camera mode?  Can I easily convert existing files to sRGB to AdobeRGB in Lightroom/Photoshop?  I understand, as a beginner, is that sRGB files cannot be modified and files AdobeRGB.

    Thanks for your help.

    George Ollen

    Save as raw rather than jpg. Then the color profile will not be embedded in the file. Then Lightroom or camera raw can assign AdobeRGB or SRGB color profile.

    BTW, if you choose - choose AdobeRGB and then convert to SRGB, not the other way around. AdobeRGB has a broader that is SRGB. It's easier to strip color to add.

    How to convert my file "Adobe Reader" in a template on Microsoft Publisher?

    Hi banam43917466,

    What you're asking for depends more on the Publisher, it's on the drive. So, your best bet would be to check the Microsoft forums and help pages for more information on the import of PDF files in Publisher. I did a quick search on Google and found some articles that may help, including this one: insertion of a PDF file in Publisher - Microsoft community.
