  ???? Conversion of files with InDesign? Never have been possible. The only thing you could and can do is to export an InDesign document. You can export to PDF, jpg, etc. just like before.

  I restarted DiskMgmt.  He said that I must initialize a disk before logical disk manager can access it.  I selected the bad boy, the Partition Style in the default MBR left and clicked on OK to format.  Less than one second,

  DiskMgmt now shows disc 1 as a 1863.02 GB unallocated partition.  I tried to find where I could assign a drive letter, as directed by your first answer.

  When you run the clean command in Diskpart against an MBR disk what did the utility is equal to zero on the first sector, (Master Boot Record), it's where the partition information is stored for all practical purposes the disc is now empty, even if all the partitions and files are still on the drive, but without the disk partition table is seen as a disc by the operating system.  When the disk management tool sees the blank disc, that it will ask you initialize only it, everything that is write code standard MBR and a partition table empty on the first sector, the partition table entry for the disk will be always found not empty, it is marked as "unallocated space".  When you initialize a disk because there is yet no partitions on the disk, there is no done formatting.  What you need to do now is to do a right-click on the unallocated space and create a free space partition and then format it, after it is formatted you will then be able to assign a drive letter to the partition.

  I have a disturbing question I'm trying to solve.  I am an administrator with full administrative rights on our Mac network.  We have a variety of machines El Capitan and Yosemite.

  I have a lot of machines that have all of the different USER accounts with access USER ONLY.  No administrative rights.  I don't want my staff not spoil the machines or turn on or off certain functions.  I want to freely share and copy files on our network.  My Mac has all the rights administrator for my account.  Each of their Mac has a USER account AND an administrator account that they don't sign in.

  When someone tries to copy files from their Mac to another Mac using the FINDER, copies of files, but then the person on the receiver Mac cannot open the file.  I can manually pass and unlock with my credentials, but it is very frustrating and I don't know what I'm missing.

  I made sure that file sharing is enabled for each account.  Obviously because you could not copy the file in the first place, if it was turned off.  I really want to make them all start to use the SHARED folder.

  They used to all administrator rights and files flowed but since I have set them up as regular USERS who could not be an administrator, the problem started.

  Any idea?
