  You updated Lightroom to version 6.5? This is the version you need. What is the exact wording of the message you receive?

  This camera required Camera raw 9.2 or higher (see supported by Adobe Camera Raw devices )

  You need to convert raw files to DNG, then you could treat in Bridge/Photoshop.Refer using Photoshop | Digital negative converter Adobe 9.x

  I use LR cc for over a year.   Works very well on my desktop, but I recently did an update on my pro surface.  Once completed he deleted all my drivers.  I had to re - install the drivers before that I could make wireless adapter working again.   I have re-installed LR & PS shop launches photoshop and work.  LR has been re-installed but when I try to run it, the screen is blank.  It will not launch LR at all.  Sometimes it will say: trial version, but even that won't work.  Whats up adobe?

  To be a CC subscriber, sure you make it difficult to get an answer (for what is probably a simple fix) sick of looking for forums to find no answer to my question, shame on you adobe...

• I bought the Sony A7Rii and found that LR5 did not support their raw files.  So I just bought LR6 and LR6 can't read SONY's RAW files.

  LR6 should support for the A7Rii of Sony RAW files (.) ARW files).  Fix?

  Have you updated to Lightroom 6.1.1 least? This is what is needed for your camera.

  Hi, ATR, just for you say, my firewall etc is managed by software Norton anti-virus, the reason why I could not update was the firewall, entered the firewall of windows 8 and found a facility to allow applications through firewall he, Adobe was not one of them, so I just added 13 elements Adobe and hey presto it allowed me to do all the necessary updates , I now camera raw 8.7 update on 13 items.

  I am under lightroom cc 2015.4 and quit lightroom and import feature just stopped working. So I can't out of lightroom restart.

  I'm on a mac under OS X El Captain 10.11.6

  Force quit LR. If this is not work press and hold the power button for a few seconds until the system stops, turns off.

  But if it's something that happens often, then, you have a problem with your Mac.

  kb408037 indicates this is a known issue and suggests to manually install the update to Camera Raw 5.2. The problem is that I use Windows and the manual instructions are only for Mac using a dmg file. It doesn't seem to be an equivalent download file Windows (.msi?) for the manual update.

  Can anyone suggest a way to update manually on Windows?
