Can someone guide me through the process of conversion of video with Rhapsody? Many have claimed that Rhapsody, while it may take more time, will make video conversion INSTEAD OF to the SMC HELP.

I don't see any options to perform a video conversion on the site of Rapsody.
Rhapsody will convert the videos only purchased by them, and the converted videos won't work if your membership is current, because it is with the music? I can download a movie in public domain, and then convert it with Rhapsody? Convert a dvd with anyvidconverter, and then deal with Rhapsody? I don't see videos for sale (in electronic form).

With Rhapsody 4 client open, click the file tab in the upper left corner. Select Add data to my library.
Check the box Scan for videos in this folder, and then enter the path to your video files.
If the files are from a DVD, VOB files must first be 'cleaned' by an application like DVD Decrypter. Of course, these are DVDs in your collection. Also inexpensive that DVDs are, of course I have a copy of the movies I like. I myself remember days of movies $ 90 in format VHS-we have come a long way.
I've personally not played with R4 client and import VOB format yet. If this does not work, simply download AnyVideoConverter to convert the MPEG2 file or avi for Rhapsody to have a race. I always ran that from the CMS for most video DVDs without problem.
Once the files are imported, you just drag and drop to your Sansa then it is connected and available on Rhapsody customer's screen. Drag the videos. It is slower than the SMC, of course. Rhapsody send avi files for playback on the "rocket".

Oh, and if you mean by your highlight support RealNetworks, good luck with that. They need a lesson by the folks at SanDisk.
My suggestion would be to use Audacity (a free audio editing application) to record the audio. You can then change the audio stream as you seems to (for example, cut into individual pieces) and export it to a certain formats. I used it in the past to make an mp3 of the DVD concert album. It works very well (if there is some time.)

First, you will need to decompress the file or just open the Drag FFSetup260.exe out of the folder and drop it on your desktop. To install left click.
I record a lot of video with a resolution of 1280 x 1024 or other resolutions that are not specifically mentioned in one of the presets.
Whenever I have import all of this video, Premiere Elements manages to export the video with the correct aspect ratio, but he he boxes with a black border. I recently bought a Satellite A660, which has a built-in webcam. Using the Toshiba provided video application I can record videos, but I find the clarity and brightness of the rather poor image, even in good lighting.
I have a USB webcam that I plugged in and tested for example in Skype, and he produces images much better under the same conditions. My question is: How can I know Toshiba video application to use instead of the built-in USB webcam? I can't find any settings where I can choose which camera to use.
If this is not possible, do I need to install other video recording software? Windows 7 does not have all the applications where you can simply record a video from a webcam (I thought Windows Move Maker to do that, but apparently not).
I just want to be able to record videos of my USB webcam - any suggestions on the best way to proceed would be welcome.

Put I don't think something like this is possible. Pre-installed Camera Assistant Software is obviously designed to work with the built in cam only. What you need is a third party software that you can use for this application.
Google around a bit and visit a few video forums where you can pick up some info on it.
I am trying to transfer my video files 3pg by converting avi files to copy on this new player mp3; in the instruction book, which says that if there is no problem converting them, iwould need to download additional codecs to take in charge all the multimedia files. How do you do that?

What operating system is installed on the computer?
You don't need codecs for the avi files to convert to be played on the player, if you need to read the files on the computer, then you may need to download codecs from the internet.
You can use your favorite search engine to download codecs and use.
The audio or video file can be converted to a file type that your device can play and then copied to your device. If it cannot be converted (or you don't want it to be converted), you can always choose to copy the file on the device, but you will not be able to play.

If you can import video clips in Movie Maker, it has an option to take a picture. It's pretty simple to screen caps with Movie Maker. At the bottom of the view screen that you will see an icon that looks like a camera.
Move to the desired frame and click on the icon (known as the "Take a photo" button)... You will be asked to save the perforated Cap.

Your camera may have an option in settings to save the video in MP4 format. Alternatively, if you buy Sony's Movie Studio, you can modify and make the video in different formats.
