  I just bought a new laptop and am new to windows 8. I downloaded approximately 300 pictures and they all saved in the library of photos in the same folder. I can't work out how to create separate folders or even how to move one of the photos. They appear only as a long line of scrolling which is a real pain.   Note that with a combined function as count you will never get an exception no_data_found

  I have a collection of close to 800 photos. Created a page of book layout using about 80 photos. I see the film in the book module, I see that some of them are marked with '1' to indicate that they are used in the book. So far so good. I would like to create a collection (or in some sort of filter) include only 80-or-so pictures used in the book. Is this possible in LR5?

  Found a way...

  -create a new collection and set it as the target

  -Open book

  -Click/Select each photo (one at a time)

  -Press b to add it to the target collection

  Must select each photo in the book, but it's pretty fast...

  Among the dozens of brushes I there are many I don't want (I know I can delete any specific brush) but I don't know how can I change the order of the brushes so that it will be comfortable for me to browes them.

  You can try to use the lightbox widget. Try playing with the opacity in the overview of the miniatures and normal States.

  Otherwise, you can add another image on the rollover State of the thumbnail which can be a bit darker than the original.

• Created online collection do not synchronize Office LR

  I created a collection of photos at lightroom.adobe.com, but the collection is not sync to my desktop copy of Lightroom.

  I'm sure it must be something simple, but can't immediately see what is the problem. All my other collections that have been created on the desktop synchronization on multiple platforms very well.

  It sort! I had accidentally set "synchronize with Lightroom Mobile" to pause on the desktop. Everything works fine now. Phew!

  B. 1 point with 5 values (radio button) different types of responses
  I want to accomplish is to answer all questions and save all the answers at the end of DB. For this I thought to use the apex_collection to collect the information and after will see :).

  Indeed, the collection is a process.

  I'm still waiting in my business logic where the best place is to create. You say you have need some kind off investigation app.

  In this case, I would create when you open the first page off your App survey know that you can create it only once. If there is already let them down but in the API, there are procedures like create or truncate the collection.

  Everything you use in the API are procedures of the apex.

  With the synchronized collection use LR desktop to change the sort order of capture date custom order. In web LR, click the eyeball icon to the control and the web collection will reflect fundraising. You can only drag and reposition it on the desktop version; not the web version.

  Try to open your Photos App, select Albums at the bottom, if you see the film, then press the sign in the top left + album name and then copy photos from film. The pictures in the album will not copies, they are only pointers, photos will still be Q.C.

  Your library system can be on an external drive, if the drive is Mac OS extended (journaled) format and mounted on-site.

  But you must be careful, your external drive is always connected and available before the Photos and to import new photos.

  If Photos opens a different library, news, you can switch to the library on your external drive by double clicking on an external library. You can have several libraries, no problem.

  But pictures don't have any tools to merge libraries. You can switch between libraries, then open them alternately.  To merge two libraries export the photos of the smallest library and import the photos exported in the largest library.

  Or use third-party "PowerPhotos" to move photos between libraries.  But the merger is not supported in the free trial version. You must purchase the full version. You can download it here: Fat Cat Software
