  • How to create a rubber stamp effect?

If you are familiar with the police 'Pad', this is the effect I want to use an object.  It was real rough looking for the edges of a rubber stamp.  How can I create this effect with Illustrator?

    Hello Kelly,

    Here's a method I use:

First place a photo of a wall or floor and use default 'tracing '.

You'll find yourself with a black and white texture like this:

Select all the white areas and then delete them. If you have a lot of black texture, feel free to delete as you wish. You can still copy / paste pieces where you want.

Now place your design on the top of the texture that you created. Then send the design to the rear.

The last step is to select the text and composed forms and apply "Subtract from shape area" with Pathfinder. Please note that this option does not work on CS3 in the menu (one of the hundreds of bugs in this ugly version), so please use the Pathfinder window.

    And here's the final result:

It was a quick example, but I'm sure you can do something better than this example. I think the hard part is to get a good photo. Maybe next time I'll use a damaged concrete floor or a wall picture.

    I hope this helps!

  • How to create this kind of effect

Hi I was wondering just if anyone knows of any tutorials or anything on the creation of this kind of effect. Do you think he did in legacy?

Its the 3d pan camera through 02:40 notes video.

    Thank you

Such effects require several layers, camera angles some work of rotoscoping to separate foreground and background elements.

If you want to do that you need to plan your shots, then you must make some laborious roto to separate foreground and background from every angle. The next thing you need to do is to plan and develop a morphing between each of the camera angles.

The multiple-image or mirror image effects can be accomplished by using the echo effect on a layer that is separated from the background. In other words, it must cut out the kite surfer then apply the time effects to layers.   It sounds like it could easily be several days of work just for a unique effect.

  • How to create grainy texturing and faces in the movie posters

I love watching the lighting and contrast in the movie posters,

I would like to know how to create textures and texture effects I see often on movie posters, which seem more hyper made realistic than nature, still convey the character very well skin, I have also attached a cover of wii games to show the hand texturing,

My guess is that it's done with the right give modes and texture brushes, do not know how to create this subtle grainsand looking into the skin, or what is a very good camera that captures the skin in detail then applied to the skin texture, contrast? benjamin button seems to have a grain for its halftone,

benjamin and prince of Persia poster button seem to capture better what I mean, hand on the cover of NFL wii game is also interesting.

    a few examples below,

Make a new layer filled with 50% gray, use the filter-> noise-> add noise or other texturing method you prefer and then change the blending mode of this layer to overlay or soft light.

  • How can I create a layered lens effect?

I want to create a layered lens effect. I am trying to create an effect like this.

I can create a rectangle with a hole in it using mask form = Shape.subtract (backgroundRect, lensRect). The problem is that I want to want to be able to move the lensRect with the mouse. I don't know how to do this. I can use a clip to reveal the background under the lens. The problem with that approach is that is will not let me create a semi-transparent background. Do you know how to update the mask each time, the lenseRect is moved? I tried to use a changelistener on the lenseRect translateX property, but we cannot update the form inside the event. To use the reference of mask in the case where there be declared final.

  • How to create a unique fixed break point to allow scrolling effects?

I am creating a site that has scrolling effects. I somehow just can't understand for the life of me how to create a 'unique fixed breakpoint. I already have a fluid breakpoint, and whenever I try adding one, it does not always activate scrolling effects. I think it's something very obvious, I'm missing - any advice?

To use the effects of roll, your site must be fixed in width, not fluid. Scroll effects are disabled when you add a second breakpoint.

I would like to create a sunburst effect as in the attached picture. I want the torch to be the largest to the smallest (from top to bottom). Please guide me how to create it. Thanks in advance.

Start by creating a form of circle with a color of outline and no fill color. Turn the dotted line and then increase your line width until it meets in the middle. Here is a screenshot. The parameter will be different depending on the size of the circle begin you with that. When it looks good, go object > decompose the aspect and the object > Expand to convert the race forms.

Hello boys, a guy in another forum told me this question and for you who want to know how to do it, I'll post his reply here.

First, After Effects is your best friend for the effects.

The main effect is quite easy, really, as shown here:

    https://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=5ClY7f1c7D8

Basically, look for a tutorial to dissolve particles.

    You can:

    (1) in the tool box, set the fill to none;

    (2) in the appearance palette dialog box, click Add new fill;

    (3) with the new fill selected / highlighted in the main window of Apperance palette, apply the gradient.

In the case shown and similar, you can click the gradient in the Toolbox instead of filling Uni, then change the colors in the palette degraded for each stop end of levels of grey, white and black for the right colors in the color palette (RGB or CMYK), then add stops with intermediate colors. you select / Create to stop clicking in the gradient bar, and you can move the stops in ClickDragging or by setting the percentage values.

The image looks like a little green at 0%, blue 50%, red 755% and flame red / yellow 100%.
