  I am trying to create a PDF file that contains the embedded video, but the PDF ends with a very bad quality video. I create the PDF by InDesign, but I also tried to place the video in a PDF video Acrobat Pro X. same results. No matter what I do, the PDF has very poor integrated quality video, at the point of being unusable for the client's job. I see no documentation anywhere to choose the "quality" of the video inserted in a PDF file.

  -video 1 (page 1 of the PDF): 640 x 360 px .mov (H.264, 29.97 FPS, 2500 + kbps)

  -video 2 (page 2 of the PDF): 640 x 360 px .flv (H.264, 29.97 FPS, 2500 + kbps)

  Other details

  -PDF created with Adobe InDesign CS5.5 (latest updates applied).

  -Attempt to create PDF of various different machines (all running different versions of Mac OS X, all running CS5.5).

  -Videos are placed in InDesign @ 100% actual size, PDFs are set to see full size of 100% (so there is no current scaling the could be the cause of the video to display so bad).

  When you embed a video/sound/SWF in a PDF using InDesign CS5 + or Acrobat X + there is never any transcoding or resampling of the media - flate compressed so it can be written in the content stream, but it's just an exercise without loss of reconditioning, and when subsequently extracted by the application to display that is bit for bit identical to the file you chose in the first place.

  And that is your problem - there no such thing as '100% ' in a PDF file if you are talking about the page view. PDF pages use the physical dimensions, which unless you use a different video player widget or set the annotation is displayed in a floating window, your images will not hit the screen 1:1 pixel. Unlike with Photoshop, when the zoom level of Acrobat is to ' 100% ' it means he's trying to make a page of the letter about 8.5 inches wide on your screen.   Office 365 is not compatible with acrobat 9. Check the compatibility in web browsers and applications of PDFMaker.

  You can download Acrobat last DC Pro (30 days free version track: Download Adobe Acrobat free trial version |) Acrobat Pro DC ) which is compatible with office 365 & will provide features to create the PDF file of the emails in Outlook.

  However, the conversion can be lossless.  If you make a PDF file from a SINGLE image (different option) and select the image format in files of Type, you can click settings and choose the compression format. Choose the ZIP and equivalent PNG compression is used.

  Too bad, I was getting a lot of hits from google to create the .iso to a cd/dvd, etc.. But there is a way of the command line to do this as well, so I'll post it for those maybe with the same question. This is done from a terminal of course window. Enter the following text:

  hdiutil makehybrid -o ~/Desktop/image.iso ~/path/to/folder/to/be/converted -iso -joliet

  If I (put) understand, you can cheat as follows (guides are your friends, telling you when you're withoin magnetism remotely):

  (1) ClickDrag with the Rectangle tool in the opposite corners of the placed image (Smart Guides say anchor);

  (2) give the rectangle nostroke/nofill;

  (3) group the rectangle and the image;

  (4) distort the as you like.

  I have a special requirement where I need to allow the user to create a book of the child without master context.

  I have two of your MasterVO and ChildVO and have seen the connection between these two. and cardinality is 0.1 to *. Here, my master is read only VO. and it's generally group by child attributes except Date column. I like that, because my table is normalized table and column VersionNumber which is of type Date correspond to the versions of each master. So I created my Application module as below.

  -MasterVO

  In the UI, when I create a record of the child using ChildVO, but because of the connection of the display, it creates a trace under the Master.  But is it possible where we can use the same instance of ChildVO, which is under masterVO to create a new record, but the newly created folder should not be created as part of the master.

  I want this requirement to reuse the jsff page, because I have create and modify pages, the two looks like but I create use ChildVO for all input values, but in the editing page attributes little (which is common attributes except version of each master to another date) is not editable, those will be less read only Master VO (I used group by VO to achieve this in here) , and in the editing screen, we allow user create the new version of the master where it copies all values in the master VO except date. so in the backend it stored in separate folder with different dates.

  No help from this kind of implementation.

  You can use either Adobe PDF Acrobat Pack to combine PDF files. With PDF Pack, you can combine 12 files at a time, so you should have to be combined in batches. You would only have the same limitation with Acrobat.
