How to cut between clips?

I don't know how to cut between two elements in a sequence.

I downloaded a screencast documenting my frustrations: http://youtu.be/gIMspPJxXF4

After download and carefully read Cup two-camera shoot and watch Multicamera editing in Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 - YouTube which is a little outdated since blocking UI is now hidden in the program monitor settings, I managed to make a montage which switches between my GoPro of my head and my screencast. But I found the whole process "Multicamera" a little long-winded. Am I missing something?

Also on the same sequence I found unable to apply a fade to white transition both the screencast and the video of my head at the same time. Maybe I am not versed in the selections.

Hello!

He almost got it. First off you need not unlink the clips to isolate just the video or just audio. Don't forget to press ALT and then select the video and it will highlight only the video and not audio related.  Well, aside from that, you were very close... You see on the left side of the timeline, you have a box that says V1 and if you hover over the V1 on the right it says "track targeting...". "For the moment, you have targeted V1 track which is normal. That's fine, but your nested multicam clip is on track 2. If you can bring to the track #1 or deselect targeting for track 1 and select only the V2 to target 2 track and then the multicam window will appear as it should. So close. Happy editing!

  • How to cut between the two frames?

    I am completely new to Premiere Elements. I saw the capabilities of it on the internet and just had to buy this software, so I was pretty excited when my package came in the mail.

    My question has to do with timing. I want to create video clips with mp3 files. I have a software that analyzes music and tells me how many beats per minute, the audio files play at the. The file I'm currently working on that play on 128bpm which is approximately a video cut to about a timing divisible seconds par.47. However, I don't know where (or how) do first items cut a video to exactement.47 seconds since the Cup marker per frame, not necessarily going to timing.

    Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    With video, the lowest element is the setting. There can be no half, thirds or similar image - AN image only.

    If you need to adjust things, at a finer level, 1/24, 1/25th or 1/30th of a second, depending on the frame rate, the only choices are to adjust the sound, by a smaller percentage, or a higher percentage.

    Now, PrPro allows to work in Audio Units, so we could work with Audio in 1/48, 000th of a s, but for the video, would always be blocked in a unique setting.

    Good luck

  • How to cut a clip and export using the same file format

    I use CS6 on a Windows 7 system. I have a MB 304, 8 HR record from a workshop that I put on recently and I would like to extract the different sections of the workshop in their own files.

    Here's the info from the source file:

    Type: MPEG Movie

    File size: 304,0 MB

    Image size: 1920 x 1080

    Frame rate: 5.00

    Audio Format: 16000 Hz - compressed - Mono

    Project Audio Format: 32000 Hz - 32 bit floating point - Mono

    Total duration: 07; 35; 20; 25

    Pixel format: 1.0

    My ideal solution is to delimit work areas that cover the section I want to extract and then export it to the target file by using the same parameters as the source file.

    So far, the resulting files have been considerably larger than the source file, so I hope that there is a simple way that I'm missing.

    THX!

    So, can you go down to set rates manually? It's been a while since I used CS6, but I think that the option was there... and something you can do to help, is to say MediaInfo on your computer...

    Media Info: https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo

    Drag & drop your clip on that, it will tell you the exact wrapper and the codec used, including the bitrates & such. You will know exactly what your current clip is this way. Build a preset to match.

    I know that I can use sequence-> add amend to cut a clip at the current position, but unlike with the razor tool all tracks intersect. How can I cut just the track associated with the current position?

    Target the desired track, or securities.

    Block all other tracks.

    These are two ways to limit cuts.

  • How to cut an object

    Hello

    Newbie here...

    I created an oval (no fill, the line color) and placed a star (swollen in a flower) on it. I would like to cut part of the oval where the flower is overlaying it. I tried various tools, for example. mask clipping which leaves me with only the bit I want to get rid. I tried to add anchor points to the line, but am not sure how to delete between two anchor points. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    You must be distortion with an effect? Expand the first effect, then do it.

  • How to cut certain frequencies

    Hello!

    My question is, how to cut certain frequencies (sound of machine). The problem is im recording of the sounds, but have a noise in the background, who is always there, because of the machinery around the subject of the test. So I want to cut frequency of 1300-1500 Hz (in the example). How do I do that?

    I'm using labview 2010 sound & vibration toolkit. I found a few fast .vi which attenuates frequencies in example of 1000 Hz upwards or downwards, but no .vi is there that cuts between the two.

    Hello!

    You must create a bandstop filter. There are a few examples in this forum. You can also view and change this: https://decibel.ni.com/content/blogs/Simon/2010/06/16/world-cup-2010--filtering-the-annoying-vuvuzel...

  • How to make a clip to close a number of times in Flash?

    Does anyone know how to get a clip to a certain number of times in Flash in a loop? I know how to stop a clip of looping using the this.stop (); order by placing the command in a separate layer from the Action Script, in a keyframe within the video clip timeline. This allows the clip to play through both, and then stop. But I need to clip loop more than once, maybe 2 or 3 times and then go back to the main timeline. Anyone know the code for this?

    Also, is it possible to place a break (I'm guessing, perhaps using a timer of some kind?) between the loops, so that the film is going to pause a few seconds before the loop is executed again, then stop? Please note that I must not the clip to stop when there's an event like a reversal or whatever it is. I just need to play a couple of times, pause between pieces and then stop and return to the main timeline. Please let me know if anyone can help.

    Thank you

    Sarah

    PS is there a reference work good, easy to use, anyone can recommend to create specific things in Flash using Script of Action? Guys do you have a favorite for beginners like me?

    There are different ways to do... the simplest is probably to put a bit of code directly in the scenario of your clip. Assuming that your frame 1 is a 'pause' with a stop() in there, you can add the following text:

    var loopCounter:int = 0;

    Stop();

    Then in the last frame of the clip:

    loopCounter ++;

    if(loopCounter == 3) {}

    dispatchEvent (new Event ("clipDoneLooping"));

    gotoAndStop (1);

    } else {}

    gotoAndPlay (2);

    }

    So in your main time line you have a condition that tells the clip to play with a gotoAndPlay (2); If you need to know the video has looped three times and has finished you can listen to the clipDoneLooping to ship.

    myClip.addEventListener ("clipDoneLooping", doSomething);

    And will be called the doSomething function.

    To place a pause between loops, you can use a timer object. Instead of the gotoAndPlay (2) conditional above, you should just start a timer.

  • How to export multiple clips in my timeline without exporting all in 1?

    Hello

    So I was wondering how to export several clips that are in my editing instead of loading each one and exporting manually. Basically, I have 40 clips that I need to set the height and then I need to export 40 separate clips. So, how can I do that without export everything as a clip and without having to make a?

    RTC if the exporter Clip utility will do. If this isn't the case, you must do it manually. You don't have to wait to complete to start another. Define a default setting and you can run through 40 clips in about a minute. X to make a selection. Cmd - E for the export preset. Come in. Down arrow for the next clip. Repeat steps.
