How to cut the film to the size of the mask?

I always use the trial.  The difficulty in finding ways to make something simple.

I have a rectangle of mask and I want to cut the film to her.  I can't find a command to set.

There is no such thing. Your mask is your pad. It does not change the physical size, it only masks the unwanted pixels. It's just how it works. If you come in on the adaptation of the model to your images, you can still do. Select the region limited to the bottom of the comp Viewer, then position the rectangle that includes your film. You can choose cultures of the region of interest in the Composition menu.

    I could erase parts of the film strip, but I'm not familiar with the process and have "cut" never the movie of "front-end" or the "back-end" (well Yes, I said, I'm not an expert).   Bottom line: I want to get the movie in its entirety on YouTube somehow.

    All advice welcome.  The film is already 4 years old and I did not understand this in order to share with the family.

    The discussions and the answers you need are too detailed tedious to cover in a forum for troubleshooting.

    A lot of YouTube videos for you help with your film questions of edition.

    You just need to look for the tutorial iMovie, you need.

    You had 4 years to do your own research on how to change your own created movies.

    YouTube has a lot of video tutorials to help you with this, and you can play these video the long while real using iMovie to make the tutorial!

    What I'm asking is how do my lines have this circular edge like the inside of these lines... I'm sure that its some pathfinder tool where you put a circle on the top lines but I can't seem to find the right order to get this look... Any advice?  P.S. I'm still tweeking the colors and the others then... AND the largest circle is the one that I was trying to use to cut the lines...

    I don't have a lot of experience using Indesign, but for my work, I have to do 1 small business using Indesign.

    Have a look at the photos, I have to make circles, with a transparent background (not this one purple) of the png. The size of these png were the same as the purple rectangle (640 * 88).

    I want to cut out the parts of the circles that are outside the rectangle, so that I can copy directly in photoshop (after all completely transparent purple rectangles).

    If you group objects circle you cut and 'paste' in the rectangle that will act as a mask, but not actually cut the circles.

  • How to cut the text in Illustrator?

    I am lettering my comic in Illustrator, and I'm pretty new to Illustrator.  How can I cut or obscure the text?  For example, if I have the lettering on a book that is partially shot on a shelf, or lettering on the side of a semi trailer, but it is blocked by an object in front of him.  How 'block' it with an invisible object, or slice, or something?

    I realize that it involves probably change my text in a chart so that it is no longer editable.  No problem.  I just need to learn how do.  I don't know there's a great tutorials on it; I don't know how to find them because I don't know how it's called.  I thought it would be masking, but everything I tried had no effect.

    EDIT: I thought it might be useful I showed exactly the situation I have here.  I circled the two spots where I need to be able to edit the text.  As you can see on the yellow triangle, I was juggling with masks to try to understand this.

    These four panels is arranged as cards to play, with the name of each participant and the suit of the card at the top and bottom.  The problem is that you map overlays another, so I need to be able to cut name Thaddeus of the Sultan on the left and the J (for Jack of hearts) on the right.

    All the texts of four cards are on different layers, with works of art and the word balloons and text on layers separate as well.

    I THOUGHT ABOUT IT!  Trial and error, I just kept going through the possibilities until I found a combination that worked.  Thanks, Silkrooster, to show me the right path!

    Here's what I did (just for someone else who finds this and needs the solution to a similar problem).

    1. I put my yellow triangle ON the part of the text I wanted to keep in this case, the curvature of the J and the symbol of the heart.
    2. I selected the triangle layer so the layer J/heart.
    3. In the window of transparency, I used the pop-up menu corner (I'm in CS4) to check "new opacity masks are clipping" and make sure that the "...» are reverse' option has not been verified.
    4. I chose to "make opacity mask".

    That's all!  Ta - dah!

    I'm trying to derive some of generic logic that would be cut into pieces of defined size a large table. The goal is to perform the update into pieces and avoid questions too small restoration. The full table on the update scan is inevitable, given that the update target each row of the table.

    Nice but not accurate...

    The problem is that your query implies that ROWID, and ROWNUM are classified in the same way. For small tables it is very often the case, but not for the larger tables. Oracle does not guarantee return records in the order the rowid. However usually it works this way.

    You could test ensuring that get you the rownum after you ordered. And see if it works then.

    What should I do if the BIOS does not detect my SSD? (1) BIOS may fail support the SSD if it is obsolete. Please update the BIOS to the latest version.

    I am very new to Illustrator, I appreciate any help you could give me.  I use Illustrator CC.  I created a form composed and then used as a mask to cut out an image for the form so that the vector image is the context in which the form I created.  Now I have the text on parts of the form, and I would like to cut the text of the compound shape.  That is a hole through the object in the form of the text.  Also, I should probably note that the object I want to cut the text on is considered as a' Clip' in the layers panel.

    I tried a number of different options that I found on the forums, etc, but none seems not to work.  So far I have tried:

    1. conversion of the type of a sketch, then selecting the Clip group and type and then by a compound path.  The result: a startup error "cannot make a compound path.  A compound path is unable to combine with a regular path clipping mask. »

    2 Select the type and the Group of Clip and then using much less prominent in the Pathfinder Panel.  Result: An error message stating "the filter yielded no results.  Please select two paths that intersect. »

    3 select the type and the value at 0% transparency in the transparency Panel then selected the type and group of Clip and then tried the difference and Exclusion.  Result: Nothing, but transparent type.

    I enclose a photo of the object and the text I want to cut him and also the layers panel.

    I'd appreciate any help I can get.

    What happens if you go back to the objects in the first picture with the direct Type and:

    (1) select all instances of three Type and group them.

    (2) select the Group Type and group in the flyout palette (Panel) transparency and Clip click the opacity mask making with Clip and mask Invert unchecked (if this sounds wrong to change these options, it should work with those when you have black Type)?

  • How to see the mask opacity keyframes after that I clicked out of it?

    Hello, sorry to bother you. I searched for days for the answer is 10 hours of Lynda.com tuts, have still not found the answer to this question. After drawing a mask opacity using the pen on a clip, I find that when I click on the clip, all the handles of the keyframe will vanish. See attached picture. I can't understand how to reactivate the handles to adjust them. If I click the pen tool again, the mask seems to disappear, but also corrupts so, while I have to replace the shot before I can draw a mask on it again.

    The main reason why I'm updating my After Effects with cc 2014 is "composition for each effect options, including the ability to limit the area affected by each of the effects with masks". This useful feature really simplify my work. But now I realize that I want to use the script function.

    I try to use .canAddProperty ("ADBE effect mask") and .canAddProperty ("ADBE Path flow Ref effect"). However, it returns false.

    I found that add or delete this property in the user interface are the buttons '+' and '-', so maybe I can use app.executeCommand (app.findMenuCommandId (theCommand)); However, I can't find that button name because it does not have a helpTips to remind me of the name.

    So how do you add the mask with script reference? Or ESTK has no permissions to access this useful property so far? I have not found anything on the Internet.

    Moreover, I have an another two quick questions:

    1. If there is more than two masks in a layer, remove for each mask is the same ("ADBE Mask Parade") ("ADBE Mask Atom"). How can I use the Remove to get the second mask such as the name property?     Seen about 5 tutorials, read 3 articles... see clearly how to make a mask. I'm here with my yellow box, my mask is feathered, but I can't go back to the pictures to SEE the mask in action.   How can I see the mask on video?     Duplicate the item in 2 layers. One directly above the other so that they are as part of frame synchronization.

    Create a mask to the top layer on the badge. Pen tool

    Click MASK in this layer.  Try check the box reverse in order to understand what it does to the mask.

    It feather at your leisure.

    Apply a blur or whatever to this layer mask.

    You must now follow if there is a lot of movement.
