  But the location of archive (5 files, and arch2 = 50 = arch1) files are still there. Can I delete these files from OS commands.
  
  In C:\oracle\product\10.2.0\flash_recovery_area\ORCL, there are 405. ARC files is also available. I can remove them too; because I took the backup of all archive logs? Location of the Archive previous was FRA, but now I take archives at 2 different locations i.e. d:\orcl\arch1 and d:\orcl\arch2.

  Why not look at the file names (indicating the sequence numbers) and timestamps and make a decision on your own?

  And go ahead: take MORE FREQUENT backups. And copy your backups on the server. If you lose the discs/storage, you lose the backup and the database!

  By default, event viewer produced a considerable number of newspapers.

  The four elements of the menu in event viewer bar are file, Action, view and help.

  Clear a log only appears in the Action menu of drop-down menu if the cursor is placed in a newspaper that can be erased and a report in the list is not currently selected. So if it is placed on the option Windows logs clear a log is unavailable, while "subject of a report in a folder under five is not selected, the option clear a log is available."

  

  The three main Windows logs files are Application, security, and system. The default file for these logs size is 20, 480 KB, which is larger than necessary. A reasonable size is 2 048 KB. You can easily change the size immediately after clearing the log by using the scrollbar to the right of the maximum log size to change whatever size you choose. In the same time make sure that the box before overwriting is checked. All of your changes by clicking apply then OK. If you have not disabled the first newspaper the system prevents the selection of a maximum file size less than the size of the existing file.

  The system records the entries in the logs. The system monitors everything that happens. Individual applications do not write entries in the Event Viewer logs. It's the system that records the entries on startup applications, stop and crashing!

  You must do so via the Desktop Manager. I'll give you the steps using the Desktop Manager v4.5:

  Problem is solved. I did clear files invalid on the application that is having the problem. If the problem is resolved. I deleted the line of the journal.

  Steps to follow:

  1. go to the console of the workspace and to connect as a user admin 2. open hFM application. 3. click on peacebuilding-> data-> Manage 4. Select the icon of the eraser to erase the invalid clear records.

  Sorry about that. Its 11g 2 R (11.2.0.1) and OS Version is 2008 R2 64 bit. Sleep is in auto recovery mode. (hope this helps).

  The reason behind this is to transfer the logs (as well as full backups) at a remote location to ensure the security of the data.

  The problem is when I put in duplex rental:

  I thhink you cannot use a drive mapped in the Windows environment. Search the metalink if there is a way to mount the drive.

  As mentioned by others, it's time for you to start to use RMAN to make your life easier.

  If you want to identify the archive logs generated before starting your backup, check your alerts log. You will see something like the following in your alert before 'begin backup ": log

  Thread 1 Advanced to record the sequence 14891 (switch LGWR)
  Currently Journal # 2 seq # 14891...

  In this case, all archive logs with seq #.<14891 are="" older="">

  Remove it via the Finder (Mac) or through Windows Explorer. It is just a file. His name is - 2.lrcat, and in the base_dn folder with a folder called - 2 Previews.lrdata is. Delete both.

I also have the logs to another server to backup and save 1 week, but prefer to leave 3 days on the server database, but in the largest/u03/archive/test directory. If all the newspapers in the smallest directory files can be deleted after the backup if possible.

  Do not "delete entry", but delete the archivelogs directly (of course after the backup command). Use the option 'as string_pattern' in the command "delete archivelog' to specify the location:

  Hey Shashi,

  You can use similar job on your backup server for the removal of the old archivelogs in about 1 week. Also, please pay attention to the setting of the RMAN ARCHIVELOG DELETION POLICY on the primary database. Maybe it's to set as APPLIES ON STANDBY to prevent the removal of the archivelogs not yet applied to the primary.
