  I downloaded a free partitioning tool here: http://www.disk-partition.com/partition-assistant-lite.html

  I used this tool to shrink the partitions (as shrink Windows would not work) then used the windows Disk Manager to resize and everything looks correct now.  Its a remapped to the table to partition properly.

  Hope this helps anyone with the same questions.

  My computer is barely a month.  I only put on about 6 programs, all with small footprints.  I transferred to about 70 GB of files.  I know that the system uses the memory out of the box, but even with all that taken into account, that I can't take into account more than 40 GB of space and the amount increases every day.

  I was check and each day I lose a few GB of hard drive space.  Where's he going?  There is much info on Vista and some of its features that uses a hard disk space, I guess than some that apply to Windows 7.  But seriously, for example I lost 2GB between yesterday and today, and I have absolutely nothing to the computer.

  Clean temporary files and use Disk Cleanup to reclaim space.  But it is usually minimal and it does not take into account what I lose.  I have the system to restore all of the space to a fairly small percentage.  In summary, I think I have everything correct in order to minimize the use of hard drive, but the space is to be consumed at an alarming rate.  No virus, MSE is on the system and did not find a thing.
