How to disable libraries in Win 7?
Libraries are Unnessessery and do only anger
Libraries are Unnessessery and do only anger
Libraries are really just "virtual folders" and the new way of organizing things. It's really an improvement in my opinion.
However, if you really want to get rid of them, you can choose to put your personal folder to display a menu in Customize Start Menu. To do that follow these steps:
- Right click on the Start button.
- Click the Customize button.
- Locate the personal folder in the menu.
- Choose display as a menu.
Click OK.
Be sure to back up the registry first.

How to disable the scaling software IPR and PPP compatible as Microsoft Office.
original title: scaling software IPR and PPP compatible as Microsoft Office.Hello!Does anyone know how to disable the scaling of the DPI (or how custom scale) in IPR software compatible? In particular, how can I disable display picture in "Microsoft Office 2010"?Disable in properties of control does not work as it does for non-Microsoft programs.I have a screen 1440 x 900, and for most of the tasks, I prefer the screen so it should be about 4' of me usually use scaling of IPR. The problem is that in MS Office, the Ribbon of the toolbar > 25% of the screen on this setting. Hide the Ribbon is an option, but if I could selectively disable scaling (as I do with the chrome) - all my problems could be solved. Thanks for the advice/input!RichThank you for your empty insulting response. I wonder if your answer is just an automated response.
Well, I was going to answer the Fahimulla K and politely point out that they may have misunderstood your question because you seem to have the "how-to" down to "Disable the display timing of high DPI settings" in the compatibility of most of the Programs tab. So say what you said apparently is that Microsoft Office 2010 programs do not seem to allow that (the selection isn't activated - grey - so you cannot select)- but you have decided to go in a different direction (more rude/crude) before I got the chance.
It will not win you a favor here - it is above all a forum for peer-to-peer (user to user). Politeness a bit for the people spend their time (and as far as I know - the real Employees from Microsoft that poster here do still their choice, not obligation) goes a long way. A little profanity goes even further - but not in the desired direction. * smile *.
However, I had planned on looking into this because he was intrigued, so despite the generally rude responses by you in the two posts, I found you so far - I'll post the results of my research (and my job steps) here in case it might be useful to someone. I'll probably respond to the other post and a link to this post as well.
At this stage, while having access to several computers, some with Office 2007 again and others with Office 2010 32 bit, I had not found the time to test and see if it is linked to all Office 2010 64-bit or not. I confirmed that this setting does not seem to be available in Windows 7 (64 bit) for individual products Microsoft Office 2010 (64-bit versions.)
An interesting thing I found in the Microsoft Knowledge Base has been "scale of the graphical object Microsoft Graph is reduced inside the bounding box when you insert it into a workbook in Excel" where they actually change you the setting in the Task Manager process tab-->. This doesn't seem to work (not yet available) for common products (Word, Excel, etc.) as he says he does it to the CHART. EXE.
So by doing research and without more information from you (such as possibly critical details that you probably have Windows 7 64-bit and 64-bit Microsoft Office 2010) and tests on one machine 64-bit Windows 7 but 32-bit Office 2010 - I note the checkboxes in the compatibility settings are available. I first thought about this possibility when I noticed a part of this article:
http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/316-compatibility-mode.html
... when they say, ' "NOTE: If the compatibility options are grayed out, then it is a 64-bit program and cannot be changed.".So - I would say the second part of the answer of the Fahimulla K would be a great place to start (and you did, looking at this post from you in the forums Microsoft Office... about a minute after the display of it here.)
I think that you maybe isn't luck if - * if * you run the 64-bit version of Office 2010 that is. Even Microsoft (for a long time - maybe still) recommended and installed Office 2010 32-bit default products.

Not for the reason will be addressed during the conversation; even though it is an interesting puzzle and would not be limited to just Microsoft Office - but any 64-bit application, you can install. Their idea was that in general there is some 64-bit plugins and same problem with 32-bit plugins that existed / exist for Microsoft Office.
My suggestion, if my hypothesis about what architecture of Microsoft Office that you have installed is correct, would be to uninstall Microsoft Office 2010 64 bit and install Microsoft Office 2010 32-bit.
Hope that helps someone.

Hello
I was wondering how to disable all types of error messages on windows (XP/7/8/8.1) through registry through HKCU only.
I know that I can change on win 7/8
The HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Windows error report
DontShowUI to 1
and on win xp (is it possible to do this through HKCU instead of HKLM?)
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\PCHealth\ErrorReporting
ShowUi to 0
But that doesn't have errors like "The DLL initialization failed", in order to correct these you will need to fix (nothing to do in HKCU)?
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Windows
ErrorMode in 2
However, I need all doing just that only through HKCU. Are there other means directly or indirectly disable all sorts of error messages, preferably by HKCU HKLM not?
Another question, if it is not possible to disable the other error messages, is there a way to make the machine close more quickly, so that the error messages are not shown while the machine stops.
I tried on XP.
HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop
AutoEndTasks 1
HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop
HungAppTimeout 0
HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop
WaitToKillAppTimeout 0
It helped a bit but manages the error message is displayed, unless you set
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Windows
ErrorMode in 2
but I need to make the changes through HKCU only.
Hello Mantas,
Welcome to the Microsoft Community Forum.
I wish to inform you that Microsoft does not encourage the registry change to disable the display of errors.
Your question of Windows is more complex than what is generally answered in the Microsoft Answers forum. It is better you post the same query in the TechNet community. There may be users who have the expertise in this area and could help you.

FWIW I currently have started 8 is installed on my laptop HP G60 - 447CL no touchscreen but disabled it all simply because I came to use and really like the new modern UI (aka metro) window.

How to disable the SOS on Apple Watch 2 function
How to disable the SOS on Apple Watch 2 function?
Hello
It is not currently possible to completely disable the SOS emergency feature.
However, to disable "hold to call auto":
- On your iPhone, in the application of the watch, go to: Watch My > General > emergency SOS - deactivate Hold to call self.

How to disable the feature CALL SOS?
I've just updated to iOS 10 and 3 watch OS, but I can't find how to disable the feature of emergency SOS on my Apple Watch.
I thought it would be a good feature for me so I turned it on, but my fingers are clumsy, so I struck the wrong cursor when I turned off my watch and accidentally, I called 911. I've disabled "Stick to Auto Call" and deleted all my contacts SOS in general in the application to watch on my iPhone and I restarted the iPhone and the Apple Watch, but emergency SOS still shows on my watch when I want to turn off my watch.
I think that before I turned emergency SOS, I saw "Power Reserve" under the "Power Off". I read that once you turn Hold for Auto call in the app shows and then turn off, the cursor of SOS emergency will always be displayed when you turn off the watch.
How can I disable the cursor of emergency SOS when I turn off my Apple Watch? Can I use Reset under general, or désapparier my watch and pair again? I don't want to do that, because it would take a lot of time to get all my settings that I want them to be.
Hello
I'm not aware of any option settings to remove the emergency SOS cursor in the menu that appears on pressing them and holding the button.
If you want Apple to consider adding an option to disable the feature, you can submit a request here:

How to disable permanently the spell check in Notes
How to disable permanently the spell check in Notes?
Here are my steps:
- With the help of Notes in OS X 10.11.5, click Edit/spelling and grammar and then clearly the 2 options "check spelling as you type" and "automatically correct spelling."
- Close and re - open Notes.
What I expected:
only the two options "check spelling as you type" and "automatically correct spelling" is always disabled when Notes is reopened
In fact:
the two options "check spelling as you type" and "automatically correct spelling" is enabled once more
Spell check in Notes for a reason any seems particularly disruptive and unnecessary. Any way to turn it off permanently?
System text/keyboard/preferences and uncheck automatically correct spelling.

How to disable alerts in shared calendars?
Hi all
My question is this: is it possible (and if so, how) to disable alerts on changes in a calendar shared on ios 9?
Calendar sharing 'A' from mac to iphone to my wife, and whenever I change something in an event it receives an alert on the screen of her phone, with the sound.
Is there a way to remove the notifications on every single events change?
Thanks for your help
Hi bart,.
I understand that you want to disable specific notifications on the iPhone of your wife? You can certainly take the control whose opinions are given on your iOS device.
To change notifications for that agenda shared so that an alert is not indicated for each change made to the calendar on your wife's iPhone, go to settings > Notifications > calendar > calendar changes. You can then select the option to "None" so that no alert is displayed on his phone when there is a change to the shared calendar. The this link below will also be you become familiar with the different settings that you can use to adjust your alerts specifically to your liking!
Use the Notifications on your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch
Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.
Have a great day.

In Firefox 42
When a site like youtube when I make the video fullscreen it just melted slow useless when it does. And then tells me that it is full screen. I know that it is full screen for two reasons. One, I hit the button fullscreen. Two, the video takes up my entire screen. The message point. Use the fade. How can I disable them?
To disable the fade, you can change these preferences of the topic: config page.
- full-screen - api .transition - duration.enter: "0 0".
- full-screen - api .transition - duration.leave: "0 0".
You can open the topic: config page via the address bar.
You can accept the warning and click on "I'll be careful" to continue.I do not know how to disable the warning, but it might be possible to hide this message with code to userChrome.css or elegant.
This message is displayed for security reasons because a malicious script can switch to full screen mode and take over the entire window without noticing you (i.e. show a fake office).
